First of all, I'll never doubt CQ again.
I've usually supported him but when I saw Mimo out, I got very worried.

Omid Ebrahimi - I owe you a big apology, you were amazing. A lion, cheetah, rock and eagle on the field. Damesh garm. MoM

Shojaei and Ansarifard need to be benched.

First 20 minutes we were nervous but the rest of the game Morocco played into our style.

Also physically TM was phenomenal. This is why conditioning and hard training is better than 100 frienldies versus Italy and Holland and Kooft and Zahre mar.

Hajisafi while controlling the ball was great, defensively he was still very late.

Azmoun - was out of it.
JB was in the right position but was clearly really nervous.

Cheshmi was not tested, thank goodness.

Taremi, Ghoddoos - pressured beautifully.

Pouraliganji was also wonderful.

I would also like to add that I was VERY wrong about Amiri. I know he isn't technically gifted, but man oh man do we need every ounce of energy he pours.

Je had a game saving, great save that most goalies wouldn't stop and it wouldn't be an error. He save our ass there. And he came out and boxed some balls away (good thing he dared to do it and he was successful, bad thing he didn't punch them far away and they ended up with Moroccans).

All in all he was great hope he can continue this but his story (considering his life story) is already amazing

Beiranvand, Cheshmi, and Rezaein had superb performances. THat's the clear good in my opinion.

Nothing too bad but room for improvement...I am a bit disappointed in Azmoun and Ansarifard because those kind of opportunities should be finished better. I believe transitioning from back to front has to happen with more speed in the midfield. Shojaie, sorry mate, time to retire for international duties. He passed poorly, was easily frustrated, and I believe if he wasn't subbed was going to turn his yellow into a red because he seemed gassed. I believe this team with Ghoddos/Dejagah and one of Taremi/Gucci starting over Shojaie, Ebrahimi (although he wasnt bad) or Azmoun/Ansarifard will make a world of difference with regards to possession and pace.

Omid Ebrahimi. All I have to say is wow. He was a beast. I am a big fan of his now and I have to admit I used to think he was shit. He glued the whole midfield together. Also what did I tell you guys? I said this Morocco team is a South Korea with better defense and we basically beat them like we beat South Korea in Seoul in 2013. We ceded possession to them but they struggled to create anything and we gave them a sucker punch in the end. Also, I apologize for CQ about Cheshmi because he had a monster game. Well done Iran, I am so happy, bacheha motshakerim!!!!
