        Here we go again.
Look CQ has always been and always will be a defensive minded coach, who will take minimal risk going forward. Don't believe me? Go ask the Portuguese and they will tell you.
The last 10-20 minutes - If you ask me - We should have risked it more. A 0-0 would realistically put any hope of advancement to bed.

Agree with all of them apart from Azmoun. He missed the 1-1 and at this stage of competition Its not acceptable ! Its world cup and maybe you only get those chances once in a game! But I know he was stressed out ! i could see it in his knees. Hopefully for next game he can concentrate.

i think his post was meaning in victory i.e. Abedzadeh conceded in 2-1 defeat against USA. Nigeria was a draw.

we played against Russia. I didn't feel good about this 3-4-3 system CQ used and we were lucky to win. I want to see more of Saman.
We didn't play with a 3-4-3, it was a 4-1-4-1. Fox incorrectly listed the lineup.

                      ----- Beiro--
                      RR-RC-PAG-EH
                      ------OE-------
                      AJB-MS-VA-KA
                      ------SA-------

In attack we would see shojaei drop a bit deeper, but overall this most closely resembles our setup. It was designed to frustrate Ziyech and other creative players on the moroccan team through physicality, with Amiri/ebrahimi/ansarifard especially working together to close down defensive spaces and win balls back from the midfield.

One (of several) tactics employed involved double-teaming moroccan central midfielders in the first half when they tried to play it out from the back. Little to no pressure was put on the CB's, instead we used a patient press that began as soon as the CB tried to distribute the ball. Our first half chances actually came from this double team, which is pretty vintage TM. Morocco ended up resorting to trying to play up from the flanks, which hit them with even greater frustration as Jahanbakhsh was constantly tracking back, more than his usual self. Additionally, we had almost complete aerial dominance when breaking up play, which is in part attributed to the work put in by Ansarifard and Amiri who both did an excellent job.

he lost his balance right before the shot, I think he did alright with the circumstances in mind.

(idiotic )Iranian Reporter to CQ " If you say the game with Morocco was final and you won miraculously, what would you call the Spain game?" CQ: " The WIN WAS NOT A MIRACLE!! IT WAS HARD WORDK!!".....

No he made mistake by trying to run with the ball and getting close to the keeper. He kick the ball forward and then when he got to the goal tried to score it. In football on 1 - 1 chances you should stay away from the goal as much as possible when trying to shoot the ball. This is because when goalie get closed to the player they close the angles which is hard to score. A player at azmoun's stage should know this better.

But as I said he was nervous and stressed. I could see it in his knees and face. Hopefully he can relax now.

What an amazing day and win. Kudos to CQ, he is a magical tactician and superb magician. By magician I mean he knows how to trick and fool all his opponents as well as us the fans. It’s hard to predict his game plans, he always comes up with the next surprise and shocker by constantly making tactical and formation changes so cunningly.

If you or Spain/Portugal think TM’s formation and game plans are revealed, then you all need to think again. I won’t be surprised to see players like Ansarifard, Hajsafi, Shojaei, or even Cheshmi benched in our next match. CQ has already planned out his formations for each and every game, and he well knows how to confuse us all (particularly our opponents. He is the perfect man to play with their heads)

Whatever that Dutch football show was all about to have ridiculed Rezaeian and rate him as one of the worst defenders they’ve ever seen (still can’t wrap my head around such idiotic and biased comment) to me he was one of our best players, if not the best indeed!

Shojaei most probably will be benched in our next game and I have a feeling he may get subbed in late in the second half against Spain.

We must avoid playing fancy against Spain. We should stick with what we have perfected and carried out throughout our qualifier road against the fanciest footballing nation of the world “Spain” by playing our defensive and relying on counters, thus frustrating the Spaniards. If you think we should play attacking football trying to keep them away from our goal, you clearly live on a very fancy and imaginary island. We MUST play physical as we seem to be one of the physically strongest teams (according to many football experts) use all of our physical players and exhaust the Spanish. Called it Anti-Football, I don’t care. The only thing I care about is accumulating points.

A huge thank you to our boys and all fans, and a bigger thank you to Sir Carlos Queiroz! [emoji1373][emoji1376][emoji1374]♥️

                                Just one word:
                                IRAN

In the German TV they were all confident, Morocco will win easily with 3-0.
