My feeling is that Branko is being an asshole because CQ brought up the issue of fitness with PGPL players, so he's pretending like Biero is not fit enough to start yet.
Iranian player genius on display. Stay with a club out of "loyalty", get benched half of the season, lose all hype surrounding you, never progress.
Some players chase every opportunity to step up that they can. Our guys have a mix of fear and comfort that will always keep Iranian players in the second tier. Our only hope is to have people like Amir Hashemi and other mentors that push our players, and don't baby them!
The logic of these agents is astounding, "Alireza, stay with Persepolis, you can make $1 Million, and I will make a $100,000! What is this Europe? Only $300,000 annually, that leaves nothing for me!"
Little do they understand that taking that $300,000 could see Biranvand or any player improve to where they become a $20 Million player. Our players are prevented from achieving this by short-sightedness. A lack of belief in themselves, and a need to get paid TODAY as many grew up without much means, and are afraid to start over after becoming big money players at young ages.
Maybe he'll leave after all and therefore no injury is risked?
From my observations, Goalies usually get transferred early in the transfer window, so I doubt that's the case. I hope I'm wrong though.
Also, he doesn't seem to have an agent.
