the english commentator on one of the australia's players: he's married the daughter of Graham Arnold (next Australia coach), he'll get 150 caps!

            Compare Australia and Iran...
Not sure if Iran have ever played such a good game like Australia is playing today!

dull game. Completely insipid performance, where is the cut and thrust of previous games? This is toss from Deschamps. Get Dembele off and Giroud on and start going direct.

France have been crap. Serves them right for not actually playing the system that has been working for them. Everyone wants Dembele, Griezmann & Mbappe to work as a front 3 but Giroud & Griezmann works better.

sure, if our players could manage a single decent pass

Pesar Irooni Daniel Arzani on the bench

You see, this is what’s positive (as opposed to all the negative attention) surrounding Arzani:

                            1) After yesterday’s 1-0 win over Morocco, many eyes are on Iran football and are curious as to how Team Melli will play against Spain vs Portugal.

                            2) Now Daniel Arzani is on the Australian team and non-Iranian people are talking. He’s already the youngest player to be at a World Cup. Everyone knows he’s full Blooded Iranian on the Australian squad and he may even play.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that we should be proud to have an Iranian in another team. This makes us look good. And don’t forget that this was a very difficult decision for Daniel as he loves Iran and our football. He knew CQ has a squad with many attacking options and Australia offered to take him so he made the right decision if you ask me.

Also, there will be more Daniel Arzanis in the future don’t you guys worry

that's not a penalty. It looked like the defender kicked the ball on to Griezmann.

Never a penalty, disgraceful for a referee to do that.
