It started with Football Manager game. I manage Iranian teams for last two seasons. And we are neighbour countries.

Fantastic! You are Turkish, yes? I remember Turkey's performance in Euro 2008. I think that was the last great tournament in football (thought this one is shaping up to be decent as well, who knows where it will lead). Nihat was unbelievable, and the Shenturk was playing the most heroic football of the tournament. 2008 was the year all the stars and planets aligned perfectly for Shenturk and he got to express his talent fully and completely on the biggest stage in the world. It facinates me to see stories like this unfold, it's one of the reasons I watch football. There is a human progression that I like maybe just as much as passes and goals and dribbles; Shenturk emvodied this progression perfectly. I don't know if he ever had such performances with such consistency before or after that tournament, maybe you can tell me. After that tournament I always look for Turkiye in the Euros.

Anyway thank you for your support. I hope that one day Iran will have a proper government that won't neglect its people and allow the country to express its love for football properly. Turkey is an example for us, though we also look at them with a mix of jealousy as well because until 1980 we were on a similar course together.

Iranian league footballers are very cheap for our leagues' teams. And we can be get good form from them. I will say this everytime.

Yeah Esteghlal. I dont like play at major leagues. I want to discover new countries, cultures and players.

They choose Germany national football team but still Turkish citizen. Erdoğan is president of Turkey. This is normal. Germany enlarged this meeting. Erdogan said a few sentences about this. If I found, write here.
