Shojaei has a great character but i hope/pray that CQ dont usw him
    in the next two games.
    Philosophy_King Jan,

I don't say he plays perfect and I agree with you that his decision making is not always the best, but he has the ability to control the tempo of our midfield and we simply don't have any player as experienced and as creative as him in that area.

I hope he has a better display in the remaining matches.

We do have a player that is more experienced and better in almost all aspects; Dejagah. Whether he is for or not is another question.

false. He was replaced by Hajsafi at left back. Im certain this was because morocco pressed high throughout the match, and milad's one weakpoint is in possession he can get dispossessed if pressed (seen it a lot for Akhmat). Hajsafi was brought into to provide calm in possession, and relieve the stress on defense, which he did brilliantly.

CQ will use a different starting line up in each of the 3 games.
I see 4-5 changes vs Spain and then again 4-5 changes vs Portugal.
That's how CQ keeps his opponents from analyzing his team.
i surely hope so..shojaei is big liability

Yes, he does give the ball away sometimes, but his presence in our midfield is instrumental.
Unfortunately, even if he played like Messi or Maradona, Iranians will still criticize him.
Yesterday, even the English commentators(ITV) were saying that Masoud and Amiri were our best players!
Look.. I like Masoud, and appreciate what he has done for TM. However, overall, he was poor against Morocco. He has been poor on the international stage, for a few games. I realize he does some good things, but IMO, the following are major reasons he is a liability for TM, right now:
            1) He holds on to the ball for too long, and misses passing windows that are only open for tenths of a second.
            2) His pace is poor; when he loses the ball, he can't recover well.
            3) He has a temper, and talks too much trash to opponents.
            4) Related to #2 and #1: He tries moves that he just can't pull off instead of dumping the ball to an open teammate. I remember yesterday that he tried a Cruyff move in midfield with a Moroccan right on him. He lost the ball, Morocco started the counter, and rather than sprinting back to absorb the counter-attack, Masoud only jogged.
Disappointing. Dejagah is a more skilled and aggressive player; start him!

ps- The English commentator is out of his mind to say Masoud was one of our best players!

You really think Dejagah isn't more skilled and creative?

dude, if hes fit, we know CQ will start him for masoud. IF he doesnt, its because he knows there isnt a better option.

Even if Dejagah isn't ready, if we don't have a better option in midfield, then we are done against better teams (than Morocco). I'd rather put Cheshmi in center mid. (Not exaggerating)

He doesn't seem to be fit for 90 minutes yet!

I understand.. but we still have better options in midfield.

Look.. if Masoud plays against Spain, I truly believe he will cause at least one easy loss-of-possession (on our defensive half) goal by Spain.

2 games played and still no sign of him! I don't get why CQ lost a spot because of him if he is not fit enough!!!

I was always saying - bring Kaveh Rezaei instead of him ... Kaveh could have been another strong, physical body we could have thrown at Spain's defense.

Ashkan is done. Put a fork in him. He's been great for us, but unfortunately, football requires the most peak fitness out of all professional sports and he just hasn't been fit.

We have a very deep bench and CQ has been forced to make some unexpected subs due to injuries (Omid, JB, and Ehsan) and he's left the other subs off until very late.

I mean, Saman has played a total of less than 10 minutes this WC. Masoud didn't play today. Gucci hasn't sniffed the field.

Could it be fitness? Perhaps. But our deep bench might play a larger role.

I am not happy with Saman minutes. I don't get this either. The guy can score, can pass, has an amazing shot and yet played about 10 minutes in two matches!!
