Out of all the people to hate in Iran, this guy is getting way too much of it.

I don't necessarily hate the guy, there are lots of people much worse than he could ever be. He is better than his pal Misaghi for example.

But don't think he's a national treasure. Just someone who fits in the system. So it's so strange that one of the only "national treasure" threads is about this guy. Makes me think I'm in a parallel universe.

Just crying and simulating passion, for this man who has been involved in IRIB for decades (and can't have had this gig so long without being close with those higher up, regardless of any "protests") isn't good enough. The number of mistakes he makes, he is not a good representative of the field of sports journalism in Iran. Again, there are many worse than him, but is he a national treasure?

I didn't mean the order of Darvishes(where ethics and principle do matter). I meant darvish as in a person who is humble, wise minus the show.
I have met plastic darvishes on insta, at persian gatherings and concerts who were just charmers, into mind fuck. Tortured individuals pretending that they have understood something about the universe that u haven't.That's not what being a darvish means, atleast I think not.
