Not all bad commentary.
Ryan Giggs with good pre- and post-match commentary on the Iran v Morocco game. He also shared a memory with Quieroz back when they were in Man U, and spoke very highly of his credentials.
Finally some good, positive, accolades for Iran: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3cjEzGriQw

wester media not talking about iran is very very normal
1- they dont know shit about iran
2- they dont like iran due to our negative image
3- they watched how terrible iran played and are shitting on us / counting us lucky
ignore these media, especially the likes of ESPN and just enjoy the world cup

On the topic, the Morocco game has given a fairly bad anti-football image of Iran. More I presume because Morocco are not a big team themselves, and they see them as unlucky to have lost. Which isn't too unreasonable considering how the game looked to the neutral, especially ignorant Americans who don't understand football and tactics.
Im sure if Iran gets anything out of the Portugal or Spain game they would give us credit, even if we defend the whole game. Think back to Argentina four years ago, after which most papers were full of praise.
Ignore the ignorant reviews - screw them, we will show them by getting results. Nobody will rememeber how we played in a few weeks, only results matter.

I don’t understand all this hate and animosity towards our boys at all. The OP is right. We are the most hated team in the tournament. Ever since Iran got the three points, all I see is hate messages, hate comments, why are Iranians celebrating? Iran shouldn’t be happy. It was an own goal. Y’all didn’t do anything. Iran is the worst team. Poor Morocco. Unlucky Morocco. Nobody cares that Iran has very little international experience because of all the sanctions. Nobody cares that we are the least supported team even by our federation. Yes we played defensive but so what? It’s not our fault the Moroccan player scored an own goal. He’s 30 something years old. He has the experience. He netted it in. Nobody pushed him or forced him or asked him to. It shows that Morocco was under pressure and broke in the last few minutes. Iran defended and didn’t concede a goal. Our match stats were almost identical if not the same. The world just hates Iran and Iranians and they can’t watch us succeed. Even though our boys tried consoling the Moroccan player, and gave them credit for being a good team, did not brag or boast about their own performance, people still want to blame us for Morocco’s loss. This shows how much they don’t want us to succeed. Because they know that if we do, we go for it all. We are Iranians and it’s been like this since the beginning of time. 40 years ago the world was afraid of Iran’s growing power and stirred up all the political bullshit with the Islamic revolution to bring us down. We will not bow down to this world or anyone who undermines us. We are Iran and we will fight. Win or loss in the next two games, we will come back stronger each time and there’s nothing that anyone can do about it!

I don't see any unfair or wrong comments in the original article this thread is referring to. It is how unbiased and neutral bystanders see Iran. Obviously they don't see finer details as us fans of TM who follow the team day in day out with a tonne of patriotism thrown in. Anyways, who cares. Don't get bogged down by these reports. If and when we go through, they all will eat their words.

I just enjoy this!
Let them hate us, let them see us as underdogs. Let them think we are the worst, let them not report on us.
Let them say wrong stuff!
Its all good. The more misinformed your opponent are on you, the more likely are chances they are gonna get a hard shock and reality check on the field!
So, in conclusion I hope spanish players read Bleacher Report and I hope Spanish media trash talks us!CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

morons!
Let them ride on the moron train. This is how they always treat winners that they don't like. Best example is the way their media treats their own president.
