Roozbeh Cheshmi Injured ! He will Miss Spain Match

As you very well mentioned, the tireless working horse Amiri, and Omid Ebrahimi had a superb day against Morroco but Carlos chooses his players according to his strategy, for example against Morroco no one expected such formation from CQ, we had the likes of Dejagah, ghodus, mohammadi, Taremi benched

So I doubt that we will be able guess who will exactly play against Spain, until they walk to the pitch

      Awful news

Majid Hosseini feels a bit too inexperienced to get to start vs Spain.. Except for his work in defense he was one of our most dangerous players on set-pieces too..

            Cheshmi Cheshm Khord!

We mostly wrote him off after the Turkey match. We are now all down cause of his absence. Interesting fans we are!

The fact is, he was the next best defender after Jalal Hosseini, with Jalal Hosseini crossed off, fans came to accept the reality of him becoming our new seyed Jalal especially after that superb performance against Morroco

Now fans are legitimately worried as other defenders are not tested for this key position especially against Spain the strongest team in the world cup!

Carlos should have kept SEYD Jalal as the 24 th player at least if not part of the 23 players list and have him play as Cheshmi’s reserve, But Carlos has proved many times in the past that he is capable of coming up with a perfect solution everytime

When it comes to Football after God in Carlos I trust!

Lol why does everything that has to do with TM always look like a scene from a movie: the bad guy turns out to be a good guy and then he dies

This is very scary... for once I felt comfortable with someone playing full back. Just like everyone else a week ago I felt very differently but his great performance reassured me vs Morocco. Now... vs Spain, arguably the best team in the world I'm scared lol! I have 0 confidence in Montazeri. I don't even know why he's on the team to be honest. I haven't seen Khanzadeh play enough. Hosseini's few minutes were relatively solid. Well regardless the decision is in the hands of the King. Let's see.

with all due respect to Cheshmi who surely will have a good future but that guy definitely struggles with pace... exactly what spain would have taken advantage of. I wish him a fast recovery!!!

That is very suspicious to me.

A pulled muscle doesn’t take 10 days for recovery, but who knows !!

However CQ has Ezzatolahi back and many other defensive options , so we should be ok.
