The fact is, he was the next best defender after Jalal Hosseini, with Jalal Hosseini crossed off, fans came to accept the reality of him becoming our new seyed Jalal especially after that superb performance against Morroco

Now fans are legitimately worried as other defenders are not tested for this key position especially against Spain the strongest team in the world cup!

Carlos should have kept SEYD Jalal as the 24 th player at least if not part of the 23 players list and have him play as Cheshmi’s reserve, But Carlos has proved many times in the past that he is capable of coming up with a perfect solution everytime

This is very scary... for once I felt comfortable with someone playing full back. Just like everyone else a week ago I felt very differently but his great performance reassured me vs Morocco.
