Group H Thread - Colombia, Japan, Senegal, Poland

This group isn't the easiest. Colombia, Senegal and Japan are the better teams in each pot. Even Senegal has world class players like Mane and Koulibaly. Poland is really disappointing, though.

Japan are almost through. Poland have been absolutely horrific and im 99% sure japan will get the minimum draw they need to advance. And I think Colombia will beat an inexperienced, but talented and dangerous senegalese side. African qualifying is really tough, only one team from each group going through, horrible pitches often, long distances.

Wow, Poland was so so so bad.

Nawalka is a goner for sure. For Talent of their players, Poland has been the second (maybe even most) underperforming team at the WC other than Argentina so far. Their play last two matches has been Uzbekistan level.

The team clearly peacked for Euros 2 years ago, but Nawalka changing formations every match and having terrible substitutions hasn't changed. Shame as he was the best Polish coach of recent era, but he has to go now. Reminded me of final days of Morten Olsen at Danish national team.

Lewandowski showing he is not a one man army to drag the team up when they are down...he's now flopped in 4 big games in the last couple of months (2 CL semis, 2 WC matches) and clearly age is catching up to him, no wonder Bayern munich wouldn't mind selling him.

Senegal-Colombia will be a cracking match!! I really like all 3 teams remaining in the group, it's a shame one of them will be eliminated. Senegal should hope Poland at least plays for pride and doesn't lay down for Japan easily...I think Colombia will edge Senegal, so the Africans need a favor from Poland to progress.

Japan-Senegal match was very nice and entertaining by the way. Very honest match by two likeable and positive teams with very little diving, time wasting.

Poland has been shit

The other three teams in the group each has something to offer. But I think Columbia and Japan will most likely advance.

Japan has been playing really technically sound football. Very good control, very calm in and around the box, and they take their Time and space to attack. They play with fluidity, enjoyed watching their games.
