    Ki-be-kie football

WHEN are we going to move on from this type of football. We must have the MOST unorganized football in the entire world. I even seen teams in division 8 with better organization.
Im sure it's pressure and stress which produce the "ki-be-kie" football. They only do the FIRST thing that comes up in their mind. There are no strategy in the game. So many wrong passes.. we must be in top 1 in the world of wrong pass and its due KI - BE- KIE football.
Its been like this forever. Team melli need to CALM the **** DOWN when they are playing. They cant shoot, they cant pass, they cant think.
I hope we can put up 3 passes in the game with spain. Forza IRAN

Im sorry you must be referring to Ghalegohi and Mayelikodan.

We played 5 players out of position vs Morocco, rested 5players and still won

Thats a system if there ever was one

Sweden has a great system. They have a football psychologist which helps the coach. I think Team melli need to work on how to handle stress and pressure. Thats their main issue with or without world class preperation.

Did you really have to start a new thread on something we have discussed to death? KC should be the least of your worries.

            Stick to watching division 8

I remember 10 years ago, we use to hope and pray we could get to the WC. We had losses against Bahrain, Qatar, and Korea ......

Today, we're sitting on the top of the standings, in a group that has Spain, Portugal and Morocco. A spot that not a single person would have predicted, and yet we still have non-believers. It maybe shortlived, but it is still a big accomplishment for a team that has even been banned by Nike.

But, yes, we accomplished this strictly because of our Ali-asghari type passes ..... Bezan ziresh type mentality ........ and now, ofcourse, a new term, this Ki-be-Kie tactics.

Playing a strong defensive minded and disciplined game is not only a STRATEGY, but it is a SMART STRATEGY. It's a strategy you use to get results. Why is this hard for people to understand. If you want entertaining and lopsided and wide open games, go watch Saudi Arabia.

I agree with you and I have respect for your thoughts. But is it really too much to ask for a Iran playing organized for only 2 minutes out of 90 + ? This "bezan ziresh" is killing me.. these clueless passes.. these shoots.. i dont want iran to gamble.. i agree that defensive strategy is the smartest.. but team melli really need to work on being defensive and STILL be able to pass 2 passes in row. We all love iran.. we all are proud of iran no matter what. But TM need to show some quality at least for 2% of the full time 90 minutes

I dont know which team you're talking about.
aside from the certain amount of stress/tension EVERY TEAM goes through in a WC game, I think our lads have shown composure & control , tactical maturity & discipline almost never seen in TM till a year or so ago.

you must have been watching another team

Ki be kie in Farsi is referred to as chaotic.

Chaotic: relating to systems that exhibit chaos

Team Melli's system and chaotic are contradictory terms.

There is nothing chaotic in Iran's system. I am sure everyone can see and explain Iran's system of play: Organized defense, giving possession to the opponent, taking the space away, waiting for an opportunity for quick counters.

Iran is arguably one of the top teams in this world cup regarding discipline and organized football.

Is quality of football low inside Iran? Yep, due to lack of proper infrastructure, lack of professional management, lack of sufficient private funding (which is due to lack of government support and regulation for revenue). You need to voice that concern some where else. This forum will not resolve these issues ....
We thank and support Mr.Kamran Delan for many years of dedication and service to Iranian Football Community.
                          Go IRAN!

If you are talking about the first 10 minutes which we had some close calls, yes it was somewhat chaotic but it was the first WC game and I'm sure majority of our players were on the edge. After settling down things got calm and TM started working as a unit.

LOL I don't usually even reply to such thread, however in all fairness we have been playing one of the most organized and well calculated footballs we have ever displayed in our national team history.
