Im sure it's pressure and stress which produce the "ki-be-kie" football. They only do the FIRST thing that comes up in their mind. There are no strategy in the game. So many wrong passes.. we must be in top 1 in the world of wrong pass and its due KI - BE- KIE football.
Its been like this forever. Team melli need to CALM the **** DOWN when they are playing. They cant shoot, they cant pass, they cant think.
I hope we can put up 3 passes in the game with spain. Forza IRAN
PS. KC McElroy please STFU. I dont need your silly reply. Go and wax your legs instead
We are highly organised and play to a set plan, set out in minute detail by the coach. Did you see how they players were throwing CQ up in the air after the 1st game, it was because he had engineered that win with a plan that worked like a dream. In fact, I will say that no team in the world plays by the coaches plan as iran does, none. They play as a team and they follow the plan which is to succeed and not to play tikitaki football. so if you want to see lots of passing then maybe you should follow a team like Saudi Arabia, they had 62% possession with 511 passes with 87% accuracy, the only problem was they lost 5 nill. Go figure!

Now that all teams have played a game, I don't think there was one nation whose display was less technically sound than our very own TM.
Even Panama and Saudi Arabia were at least able to string a few passes together. Imagine if Iran's performance in the Morocco match was put up against the host nation or Belgium.
Let's hope we see something different starting tomorrow and then on Monday.....I'm not giving up hope that they'll show some of the talent that we all know they have.

I prefer to see things clearly and not with golaab-colored glasses. Have to keep it real.
I simply KNOW this team is capable of better, and hate to see talent being squandered under cynical approaches.

CQ is one of the best coaches in the world and what he has done is creating a team that gets result, instead of a team that plays ''nice'' and in the end not do much against superior teams.

That's what we're capable of. I want to see the young talent on this team shine. Quieroz promised that this side would be much more "adventurous" than 2014, but there was scant evidence of that in their first outing. In fact we showed more initiative against Argentina four years ago!
But hey, there's two more opportunities to put our best foot forward. Omidmavaram.

All things considered we had a tactically disciplined and patient performance despite missing key players. With a little luck we won the game, and for the first time we're in a position where even if we lose the second game (against f***ing Spain), we can still go through.
