You’re being wayyyyy too confident my friend. I’m not counting us out at all but to say we are 100% beating Portugal is madness. This same Portugal team won the euros without Ronaldo and deserve more respect than you’re giving them. I had posted this in the Spain post-match thread, but more relevant here.

Maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better about not getting the tie, but it seems that tie versus loss in Spain match really didn't matter much at all. We were always going to have to beat Portugal to go through at the end of todays results.

Had we tied Spain, we'd be on 5 points with another tie against Portugal, who would also end up with 5 points.
Our goal differential would also be exactly the same, +1.
The next tie break would be total goals scored, and Portugal is now and would remain ahead by 2. And they would go through ahead of us (same with Spain even if they tie Morocco in their final match).

So lose or tie against Spain today, only way we are getting through is by beating Portugal.

Like in 2014 we have to play our last match against a stronger team being forced to win. This is not the ideal situation for us.

First of all I wanna thank MR CQ and our boys for our great performance so far ! Im sure everyone is impressed ! I never had doubts in CQ ! I knew He would do well ! Now lets get started on the topic .

Okay so in order for us to qualify we must beat/draw Portugal !

Amazing scenario which could happen and Im sure most people would love to see.

If we beat portugal by 1 Goal and Morocco beat spain by 1 goal!
Iran will qualify with 6 points and both spain and portugal will have 4 Points each with exact same Goal Difference and goal scored !

Which team will be the 2nd team ?? Will they toss the coin ? How its gonna work ? Im really curios to know.

Next scenario :
If we draw against portugal 3 -3 and spain lose to morocco by 2 goals we will qualify .

Iran will have 4 points (0+) and spain will have 4 points (-1)

3rd scenario Which is most likely to happen! I have so much believe in our team !

Iran and Spain will both qualify to next round. Iran will top the group if spain draw (which i think its highly possible) . This Moroccon team deserves at least a point in this tournament !
