I have always said this and say it again. Sardar needs to grow up, this is not the mentality of a professional player, you never quit because of criticism, or else you're just too weak to be where you are at right now!
No artist, or professional athlete should read SM comments, this is a fact, they should not read social media's comments on themselves. As a matter of fact a professional player should not even have the time, nor care enough to go waste their time on SM to read what public says about them. He has a thin skin and needs to thicken up!

If you look towards the end of first half carlos is frustrated and highly critical of him not moving and closing in on spanish players as he was walking and staring at spanish players moving pass him without him moving towards them

Noticed that as well..!! at one point, it almost looked as he was shrugging off those instructions from Carlos..?? which was the biggest signal to me that he may well get benched for Portugal game..??


I dealt with and tried to look past the immaturity and character flaws of another Iranian Super Talent (AK8) and idolized him for much of his career..!! only to be utterly disappointed and mad at myself for tolerating it all along ...!!
Personally refuse to do such again with Sardar...!!
These pathetic after game comments of him is far, FAR more disappointing to me than his Decent at best performance so far in WC..! performances which seem to me simply Lacking adequate Commitment..!!

Indeed, I am glad someone else noticed that as well, it seemed that we were playing with 10 man, I think part of his walking on the pitch and not hustling or engaging in most challenges is due to his fear of not getting injured, I doubt that he is not fit or trying to preserve energy, and also judging from Carlos’s frustration I doubt that it was carlos that ordered not to engage in challenges as it does not make sense

In regards to his sensitive sentimental interviews I have to say it all started right after series of instagram posts of him hanging out with rapper letio and hossein tohi, many football fans criticized his friendship with the rappers and also navad picked up on it, around the same time his performance at his club tanked and he wasnt scoring any goals, everyone was blaming his goal scoring drought to his off the pitch friendships and his love for his horse

Things had quiet down a little until he gave similar interviews after the world cup group draw, in which he addressed the internet trolling of our group by stereotyping all of TM fans for a bunch that were trolling, giving few drama queen style interviews with overly exaggerated upset tone in which he should have not even got into it just like the rest of the players didn’t

Someone should tell him, Ali Karimi and mehdi rahmati and hadi aghili also said we will not be playing anymore in similar drama queen style and they were sacked by CQ in a snap only to harm themselves and the team when we needed them the most

The system in which you played in and the orders that you obviously had meant that you had to defend like others.
