When the draw was made, we were all terrified (aside from whistling in the dark bravado).
Before the tourny, many didnt give us a chance to get more than 1 point.
I, myself, said I think getting TWO points from this group is an achievement.

And we ALMOST TOPPED the freaking group!

The game can be divided to two halves;

before the penalty, and after Beiranvand's save. The momentum changed entirely and for that reason I give him 8.5 points. 0.5 deduction for that push and argument, 1 point deduction since it's easy to criticize him for not saving that goal. frankly, I think he boosted the teams' confident a lot. My son looked at me as soon as penalty was called and we both knew it's over.... 1 goal is a lot but to score 3 goals to win was too much and he changed the game!

Taremi had bad touches this game. Only way taremi would have scored that last play was a de gea blunder or to take a quick touch dribble and shoot it with his right into other side of the net. Taremi held the ball too long in many instances and lost it this game. His workrate was second to none. Besides fighting incident between beiro and saeed and few shaky moments but beiro early on, we did well. Ref deserves to go to hell. He ruined the game. Had no control. VAR crew were bad. If Ronaldo got a penalty we should gave had 3 this game. Ref proved without a doubt, Ronaldo and Portugal are more important than the rules or fairness. Qaresma desrerved a red too for his foul on saeed. He better be sent home. Ref deserves a red card and a lifetime ban. Long live Iran, long live TM, our players and long live Carlos Queiroz
