In the Asian Cup, we will be one of the favourites.
Most teams will put 11 behind the ball and defend for 90 mins against us.

It is always very different to competing in a World Cup, but let's hope we do win the cup. It's about time.

These teams aren't trying to win so they can go to the Confederations Cup though, right? They're trying to win so they can win the continental tournament and be the best. Confederations Cup was just a little bonus.

Mark my words, AFC is already doing their best and planning how to stop Iran. Another Scandal is waiting for us...

I think we are one of the favourites. But Australia, Japan, S. Korea and even Saudi Arabia are as big a favourite as us in my opinion. Cause I have seen more fluent and attacking football from these countries in the WC than us!

On paper we have the best Asian team together with Japan. Australia isn't bad neither.

Then, it's never easy in big tournaments and everything plays a role: fitness, draw, referees, luck, sometimes inches like Taremi's header vs Spain and his last chance last night vs Portugal...

The fact that it's in the UAE can be a good thing, there'll be loads of Iranians supporting the team, just like four years ago in Australia. If we get to the semis then everything is possible.

to be honest the other asian teams have also shown that they're a tough team to play against. but now the problem with the centerback and goalkeeper position is solved we definitely make a huge chance to win the asian cup. specially with the idea some of our players wil transfer this summer to europa.
