Not that I mind anyone ... ANYONE thrashing Branko, (coz I totally enjoy it), but CQ has this cheap habit of attacking ppl right after a success, while keeping all quiet & victimized when success is not achieved.

    Quite a petty habit.

However, Branko is a shit anyway. So I welcome CQ thrashing him any time

Branko of 2006 and Branko of nowadays are two different coaches. Branko of 2006 was an inexperienced weak head coach who was incapable of creating a unified team in order to get good results despite having plenty of talent during the 06 world cup.
Branko of nowadays however, is a much more experienced and a capable head coach who has delivered the necessary results for the Perspolis football club in the last 3 years. Having won two IPL titles in a row and guiding the team to the last 8 of the AFC league with mostly Iranian players are great indications that Branko is a very useful coach for the Iranian football in general.
During this year's world cup campaign, Branko did nothing to harm the National team in any way by remaining totally professional. And that was the case with Kranchar and Ghale Noei. It was CQ who started this brand new drama with his totally unnecessary speech today.

I say sack and deport all foreign coaches, give CQ carte blanch authority to rewrite Iran football structure pay him well to also hold classes to teach coaching techniques and let him build our premier league. He is the most qualified man to do that.

Branko deserved it, Carlos’s timing for his comeback was perfect

The heads of perspolis and the likes of parvin should step in and shut branko up

The thing that earned my outmost respect for CQ was the fact he said he paid out of his own pocket for the camp to be built, no where in the world you see such dedication and such acts

The man is a legend !!

The whole point of the interview was to say if these kind of issues continue to happen I won't be there.
                But he is willing!

IFF will keep him through AFC. Bringing a new coach now and a failure in AFC would look bad for IFF.

If he does well in AFC he will stay otherwise he will be let go.

technically CQ or ANY nat'l team coach cannot dictate who the clubs shd choose as their coach.
so to think he's saying to pp to fire branko is just silly and nonsensical. CQ knows it too. he is just venting his deep-held vindictiveness.... while sending a direct message to branko to "stay out of my business".

I just wish CQ would leave his "tasvieh hessab" tendencies aside ... at least while he's coaching Iran.
It's not becoming of him or what he's done for us

Only reason he wouldn't stay is if IFF doesn't give him a contract or agree to his terms. For months before the WC he said i cant comment cause the federation will be upset with me, but now he is no longer under contract and he doesn't need to worry about starting drama before the WC. He has carte blache to air out all this dirty laundry and im proud of him for doing it. These are the snakes in the grass workings behind the scenes to undermine Iranian Football as a whole.
If CQ comes back you better believe there will be concrete stipulations in his contract which insure he gets domestic players released for camps or he will walk, the man has put up with too much BS to keep playing nice. Look i love how much belief and support ppl put on PGL clubs, but lets be honest the level of conditioning and coaching in PGL \ Gulf leagues is nowhere close to the level of European leagues. It take more than two weeks to get players conditioning up and you see how by game 3 after minute 60 our players were gassed, that is 100% the result of conditioning, and our lack of scoring \ getting chances on target is due to our lack of experience against quality opposition.
Thank you CQ for your service to TM & the pride you brought to Iranian people around the world.

Dadasham the point is that the regime is afraid of football in general. CQ says that Taj told him we are afraid of Perspolis fans ( being steered by brangoh ) security is afraid of them etc etc.

There were so many things that Branko did in his TM tenure that damaged Iran's long term future for a decade (which CQ has undone) but the worst of all I think was when the 23-year-old IPL player of the year refused his "help" (if you get what I mean) to get to Dynamo Zagreb, he didn't invite him to the world cup. It showed in one stroke that he is both corrupt and oghdei.

Forget all the rest: the spinelessness, the tactical naivite, the playing Daei 90 minutes every game and pushing Hashemian to the wing, stifling the development of our young players unlike CQ, bringing Khatibi back, playing the same players again and again despite the amount of mistakes they were making and not learning from (mirzapour), the obsession with strange players who were far below TM standard (Kameli Mofrad, Badavi etc...)

Please I really hope we can get rid of this true cancer for our TM and CQ can do his job in peace.

Again it's the IFF's fault. It's the job of the federation to makes decisions and not be influenced by external forces.

Our federation is fucked up. Simple.

It appears that CQ does not want to extend his contract beyond the Asian cup, because neither Banko, Kranchar nor Ghale Noei are going anywhere anytime soon.
And clashes between them and CQ will naturally happen as club and National team managers clash over players selection everywhere in the footballing world. And IFF will not go to war with all the IPL coaches in order to satisfy CQ's needs and desires all the time.
