we all remember a few months before the wc and during the time when CQ asked for 2 months with TM for prep, three amigos where dead against him and were fighting him: Branko, Kranchar and Fazeli (who worked with Branko during his stint with TM). I am absolutely sure as CQ himself was that he would have taken us through to the next round and possibly beyond had he had that 2 months with TM. I believe him and trust his abilities. He has turned a Team Melli culturally chaotic with embedded indiscipline into what the world perceived as the most disciplined and organised team. This achievement alone is a miracle in my view. So with CQ being a winner who hates losing I am not at all surprised that he is angry with these three amigos and their lackeys.

It appears that CQ does not want to extend his contract beyond the Asian cup, because neither Banko, Kranchar nor Ghale Noei are going anywhere anytime soon.

I love Carlos and have been accused more than once of being a CQ "fanboy". But as I learn more about his record and controversies with Portugal/ManU, it needs to be said, he is a difficult person and impolitic. Many demanding, successful, elite professionals are this way - stubborn, principled, and lack the ability to politic in order to get what they want.

Sorry, when it comes to Brangoh it's not CQ's fault. Carlos had gone out of his way to be polite and courteous to that loser right until the point where Brangoh's buddy took over the PEAK center and gave it to his wife as a business, and CQ fought tooth and nail and returned it to the national team. It was at this exact point that all the sudden Brangoh gave an interview blasting CQ and accusing him of "trying to determine the league winner" with no basis whatsoever, with his excuse being the timing of the TM camps which he had already agreed to MONTHS ago. It was disgustingly obvious he was trying to turn red fans against team melli, and of course they fell for it and started bashing CQ. That's when Carlos responded to him aggressively for the first time.

Since then, that Croat charlatan has tried consistently to take jabs at CQ and team melli, knowing the red fans in Iran are ready to pounce and bash their own country's team like a bunch of sheep. He would talk about how "a lot of Iranians want me to coach the national team", and even mocked team melli for failing to beat "wartorn Syria".

He's a conniving charlatan of the highest order. And if there was ever a time to unload on that scumbag and make it clear that sabotage will no longer be tolerated, that time is now, not a month from now when the camp schedule gets released and Brangoh starts provoking red fans against team melli again.
