Sadly there are so many people who prioritize clubs over national team. I personally know several of them here in LA who hate CQ only because of his feud with Branko. Prior to the WC they all said we could care less for TM and we truly and genuinely hope TM and CQ fail in the World Cup. These statements by them disgusted me so much that I erased them from my phone and contact list. Bigotry at its best!

Don't even get me started on that one He's been claiming to be the top choice of the Croat federation for their national team EVERY TIME there is a coaching vacancy...but somehow they accidentally end up choosing someone else He's such a charlatan it would be hilarious if it wasn't so infuriating.

BTW, for anyone confused about what CQ meant when referring to Brangoh's power over the federation, he didn't mean the guy is personally in charge or ordering them what to do. He meant (and he actually explained it) that Brangoh knows the federation is afraid of provoking red fans, so he manipulates them to attack people he wants to mess with. Taj and others aren't personally afraid of Branko, they just don't want to have their mothers cursed in the stadium every week and have their social media pages bombarded with profanity and threats from the morons who think Brangoh is their daddy.

And yes, the government is brutal, but people aren't afraid of people like Taj and Saket. The government allows the more lower level executives to be mocked and insulted to provide a facade of political freedom. On comedy shows they've had people impersonating Kaffashian and other football officials when everyone knows they wouldn't dare do that to a Mullah or Sepahi.

The system loves Brangoh because he doesn't give a damn about the team's facilities and planning as long as he gets paid. Just compare him to Schaffer. The German within the first couple of months had repeatedly asked Esteghlal to improve their youth programs. He even made his contract extension conditional on the management improving the practice pitches and facilities. This week when he came back to Iran he complained about the pitches not being ready. Now compare all this to Branko! I honestly don't think I've ever heard that charlatan say a single thing about improving anything! He doesn't care where his players practice or sleep as long as his check gets cashed.

Balkans tend to have a third world mentality. They're used to corruption so they don't care about our pathetic mismanagement. That's a main reason why the system keeps picking Croats.
