What we all somewhat fail to see from CQs tone, is that he has forsaken Portugal, and the other federations he has worked for, he is now 100% aligned with Iran, as he is a GOD here!! He is worshipped by the masses and feared by the federation. IMO, he is now an Iranian.

But one thing is clear he is a man of integrity, honour and pride. he has no time for Eerooni our East European BS!! He is a World Class coach for a reason !!! So what he said about Branko, As much as I hated the the tone, the timing and the ferocity, it was apparent it was all pent up and I sat back and reflected and then saw it from CQs perspective , and it was clear CQ had seen felt and experienced Brankos destructive moves on TM and is desire to coach it before the WC! CQ is not a SORE LOSER as he says he is, he is a person that weeds out BS, destructive attitudes and betrayals! BRanko betrayed Iranian football when he forced CQ to cancel his Dubai camp and ruined the preparation pals for CQ. SO CQ called him out on it, at his position of strength! having beaten Morocco, drawn Portugal and lost to a Sturggling spain.... I admire him and supoprt him all the way....

Exactly, but I appreciate the tone he used since it was a now or never time! He was on point about everything he said. I have been a Perspolisi all my life, but the hell with Perspolis and it's supporters when it comes to TeamMelli. All those geniuses have to pay a high price, befitting there treasonous acts, like in everything else in the country.

Just imagine if it weren't for these cheap bastarts we could possibly be still in and go up to quarter, semi finals, or more! But instead we lost to a bunch of abusive RONTIS, that just seat there and skim some blood off of everything in their paths at any cost.

Honestly, I was neither Red or Blue ... but seeing the general childishness of PP ultras (of course, not all fans) I am siding with Blue.

Remember, Schafer said that the norm is for club coaches to support national team coaches.

If people believe that any Iranian coaches could have found and developed the crop of players CQ has seamlessly transitioned into TM, they are smoking that good stuff.

CQ may not be an offensive tactician, but bringing in the right players, some that we were all bitching and moaning about like Cheshmi, Amiri, Ebrahimi, etc. He knows what he is doing. I trust nobody on this forum anymore based on how wrong we all were, including myself. Our best players were CQ's "surprise" inclusions.

Imagine if Karimi were TM coach (*shuddering as I say that). Our lineup would probably include Rahmati, J. Hosseini, and other aging veterans (maybe even asking Nekounam/Teymourian to return for one last go). People ignoring that almost every team that has a "vatani" coach tends to put out their oldest, slowest players who they are close with is hilarious. How often do you see home-grown coaches bringing in diaspora players from abroad, while utilizing the best up-and-coming talent within Iran. Teaching them how to execute a tactic, something Iran could never do in the past generations!

Our defensive discipline is something we will miss when CQ is gone, and we win games 5-3 and lose 4-2 like in previous generations. We will one day be measuring TM's timeline as B.C.Q and A.C.Q. Before and After Carlos Queiroz. I don't look forward to that day.
