I'm really sorry man I just saw the videos of him crying and I feel bad for hi m he fought hard and did his best debut what I'm trying to say is we need 0 mistakes to get to the round of 16 and we should work on the killer instincts

With his religious and his pro regime beliefs and opinions, there is little chance for him to succeed in Europe.

If we are so upset and hurting, imagine how he must feel? I really feel sympathy for him and I hope he gets a chance to redeem himself. Left his heart on the field, but he will never, ever forget that moment.

Trust me, all of us will get over that miss but he won't. Give him your support.

Certainly there is room for improvement amongst all players, but why would you drop one of our best and most consistent performers all tournament? Shouldn't we have patience and understanding for everyone, including Mehdi?

At best he can be on the bench while we try others who can convert their chances

Mahdavikia said yesterday, that in this move u saw that we lack of the football basics! There were 3 options how to hit the ball correctly and he did none of them.
But still its no critics to Taremi! He tried his best and fighted like a lion.

So. Mehdi damet garm. Ba gheyrat bazi kardi!

With coaches like CQ, everything is earned. There's a reason Mehdi starts frequently and others don't.

Won't hear a bad word said about the man, he's as committed as they come and his reaction showed it. His record also speaks for itself, he's performed for TM consistently where most people's favourite son ARJ hasn't.

Having said all that, I don't see him keeping his starting spot in a couple years time unless he gets himself into Europe.

Taremi was one of our best players!

My respect for him has increased 100x after his display in the world cup. His work rate and commitment was phenomenal.

People who criticize him for missing that last chance, need to go and watch basketball or ping-pong.

This. Drogba said the EXACT same thing after the match. He said that Rui Patricio had closed off the angle very well.

I had no expectations for him going into this WC, honestly. I had hopes for AJ, Azmoun and Gucci to score, they play in Europe and would be those to do it. Poor guy gave all he had, every time I watch all those pics of him crying, I start crying myself. Please dont hate on him, toro khoda gonah dare.

Others have also noted here as well, In the Portugal game, Taremi and Sardar were a menace. Sardar was pulling triple duty as Target man, false 9 and defense. Taremi and ARJ had one of the highest work rates. I'm so proud of the kids. We fielded one of the youngest teams. If not for Shojaie, probably the youngest. With proper transfers, training and SUPPORT (IFF), this team can go far.

All the people who are criticizing him are wrong. It part of soccer. Sometimes you get good touches on the ball, sometimes you don't. Even happens to the Messi's and Ronaldo's. That shot is a really hard shot because his hips were facing out.

I just hope that he goes to Europe this year. He would certainly do well in Holland, Greece or Belgium type leagues.
