Japan scored 2 against a Belgium team that is miles ahead of the Spain and Portugal we faced. Even if they lose this game they are miles ahead of TM and Asia.

They have a plan to win the world cup, and all started also with Tsubasa and other kids football cartoons. also now the new tsubasa cartoon will have the world cup replayed in the new edition.

We keep saying that but is it really true? I'm not saying that Iran is bad in defending but....

If you defend with 4 players and have even two defensive midfield players helping out the defence and you keep a clean sheet then yes you have a good defence.

However, if you field 1 goalie, 10 defenders and a strike and have that strike defend too and you can't keep a clean sheet in any of the three games, do you still have the best defence?

japan wanted to win within 90 minutes, probably they calculated not be able to do it in extra time, but very very sad and uncleaver.

Japan only reached a bit longer than Iran. But they also had an easy group. Iran had a good WCQ but not so good world cup. We could have done better.
