Now imagine Branco had to play against Croatia , with team Melli he wouldn't care as long as he gets a paycheck he wouldn't care what happens and he would never ever choose Iran over Croatia .. never

As a diehard perspolisi who has been appreciative of Branko as a coach, having brought us 2 back-to-back championship, gotta admit that Branko has always been like a servant who serves and works for the system, he plays by all games and dictation of the system and bows down to his superiors even if it's illogical and unfair, whereas CQ is totally the opposite. He works for the system but doesn't bow down to nonsensical orders and requests. He is a fighter both on and off the pitch. His only priority is winning on and off the pitch. He is outspoken and says what's on his mind as is, no sugar coating, no politically correctness, never afraid of consequences (Wish we had Iranians like him in charge)

Branko has always been the systm's bitch, be it during TM coaching years, or now with Perspolis!

When Branco was that teammelli coach majid sahelifar, the physiotherapist of the team would call into the LA television station ( zahabs) show and tell the starting 11 and the tactics, what kinda of physiotherapist has access to that information.....

So true, I'll never forget how we parked the bus against them in the 2006 final round of qualifiers and were happy to get out of Manama with a 0-0. Our players were so psychologically fragile because we didn't have a leader. Now with CQ, since like 2013 I don't even get nervous when we're gonna play an Asian team. We are almost expected to win and that's how it used to be with Iran. He has taken us to another level.

The team Brangoh took to the 2006 WC was a team in name only. It was basically a bunch of cliques, the two main ones being led by Daei and Karimi who couldn't stand each other. Brangoh was scared to death of Daei and Dadkan and basically took orders left and right trying to hold on to his best headcoaching gig after a second division team in Germany!

Mirzapour said a few weeks back that during the WC players openly insulted Branko and he wouldn't do anything about it! He's a small time coach with no charisma or player management skills. Comparing CQ to this clown is like comparing a new Porsche with a '98 Honda.

^Not only that, we actually needed a last minute goal from Hashemian in Qatar to escape elimination in the very first round of qualifiers! This was after losing to Jordan in Tehran! And his groupies keep saying "herp derp no one ever qualified as easily as Branko lol!" The sheep have no clue we were literally seconds away from not even making the final round, and who saved us? Vahid Hashemian...the guy Branko was forced to accept by Dadkan!
I honestly don't know what we ever did to deserve being stuck with this Balkan con artist in two different generations! As if we don't have enough badbakhti in other areas!
