Dinamo Zagreb 1:0 Zapresic FT
*Sadegh started the match and played the full 90 mins
*Dinamo remains in 1st place with a 17 points lead from the 2nd placed team, Rijeka.
*Sadegh started the match and played the full 90 mins as LB
According to Croatian media, he did not have an impressive game:
"Iranian Sadegh Moharrami lost every duel, tackled tactically, and was in trouble with Mark Lešković, who stayed in a wide area, and Rudeš created only two or three matches in the match."
*Sadegh is now a 1st place medal winner in a European league. He was given a rating of 6 for his first year in Croatia.
"Sadegh Moharrami (6)
- However, given the announcement of former coach Branko Ivanković, he expected much more. The Iranian defender gathered 19 appearances, with only one assist in them, but in serious matches (with the exception of the domestic duel with Viktoria Plzen), they were on the bench or in the stands. Moharrami is a horn and a perpetual player, a lot of forsake in situations "one by one", but struggling defensively. Behind him is a year of acclimatization in the new environment, from him all the next season is expected a lot more."
thats a fair analysis I think from what we have seen and read, he wasn't stellar but not bad either - good enough to earn him another go next season good to see they intend to keep him in the team. hope he can become an important player for them they'll likely be in europa/champions league next season as they have been for years now
Team Meli Iran Perspolis FC Malavan Bandar Anzali
"I will never be able to say good bye to Iran. I have a feeling of belonging to this country and to the people." - Carlos Queiroz
well you can't blame the guy for venturing and taking his chances in EU..! Hopefully they keep him as a backup of loan him to smaller club in their league..!
he looks a good future prospect for TM and the longer he could avoid the shitty PGL or ayrab leagues the better..!
Sadegh joined the Dinamo squad at their training camp in Slovenia. They will play 4 friendlies. Remains to be seen if he stays with Dinamo as Croatian reports indicate a potential loan move:
"on Wednesday evening at the Dinamo team in Slovenia, several players joined the team who made commitments to their teams. Arijan Ademi, Dominik Livaković, Sadegh Moharrami, Amer Gojak and Damian Kadzior arrived in Moravske Toplice where they started training and preparations from Thursday."
"Bjelica now has three right bets with him today, with Portuguese Ivo Pinto, Slovenia's Stojanović and Iranian Moharrami, with the blue on preparations. We do not believe that in the season they will start with three for this position. It is possible that he is interested in Peter Stojanovic, but if he remains, it is quite certain that Sadeg Moharram will go somewhere on the loan."
