Knowing Sardar, he is very invested in TM and very gheyrati when it comes to Iran. He is always the first to cry whenever we are eliminated. Wait for the dust to settle, he will be back.

I have said this before, but the best thing someone could do for Azmoun's career is to shut down all his social media accounts.

And also, I hate the comments sections on social media in general, but Iranians usually take it to another level.

Lastly, don't worry guys, Azmoun will return. He's just an emotional kid looking for sympathy.

This is a kid who did what no other player in Iran had done for a long time - left to Europe at a very early age and worked hard.

Scored in foreign leagues, scored in Champion's League, scored for Team Melli, all while being 21-23, and this is what he gets in return.

Azmoun is an emotional guy and we cannot blame him - people are not robots, every reacts differently to pressure and negativity.

The bigger concern is that CQ is a no nonsense kind of guy - I don't think Azmoun should be waiting for Carlos to come bring him back to the national team. And he should know that.

                          I don't even know man...

I'm torn. Part of me feels these kids need to grow a thicker skin. Do they think their heroes growing up didn't deal with this bs? I get that social media makes it a million times worse, but still.

Another part me thinks: good for him. If he doesn't stand up for himself and try to change this shitty footballing culture (despite the fact that it's a minority of the population), then who will?

I'm hoping he changes his mind when the dust settles.
