Someone should tell him that the biggest players like Messi and Ronaldo get abused by fans every single day and that haters will always exist.

Many including myself would argue that our two greatest "talents" and "hopes" for TM currently are Jahanbakhsh and Azmoun.

Now compare how professional AJ is versus Azmoun. AJ is pure class and oozes professionalism.

It really is embarrassing how Azmoun carries himself. He is truly talented but there is only so much good will talent can buy you. At some point his behavior will reach a point where it becomes so toxic that it will outweigh his talent. I think he is quickly reaching this point.

I think the true question here is whether he is at a point where his antics and attitude will place him on a TM black list. To me its not a question of him not coming back to TM (because surely he will want to be back as this is just another temper tantrum of his) but rather whether TM (especially under CQ) will bring his drama causing ass back.

This is not good guys. Even if Sardar wants to come back, CQ won't let him. This idiot ruined his TM career.
Without Azmoun and Gucci we will struggle a lot at the AC.

Let's be supportive of Sardar. The past year may have not been the best for him, but he has the quality and can still improve from his peak. We don't know everything going on behind the scenes

We have Karim and Kaveh Rezaei. In the backdrop, we have Allahyar Sayyadmanesh and Younes Delfi. Saman Ghoddos can play that role as well, as well as Mehdi Taremi.

Sardar - unfortunately has shown why a huge talent like him, without proper guidance and emotions, can derail an entire career. He has shown it at every stage, thus far. We should not expect this to not continue.

What he fails to understand is - his mother's instinct is always to be mothering to him. He needs to make the decision to take a step back and fully embrace manhood, where he doesn't need a mother. Unfortunately, he has taken so many steps back on this point - can he ever make the right changes? Look at this in comparison to Alireza Beiranvand - who became a man so quickly, even at an age where he was not even physically mature to be a man. He went against what both of his parents said, and fulfilled a dream and showed that he has the potential to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Talent means nothing. It is the hunger.

He has a very sensetive character. Age jaye Ronaldo o Messi bod chi kar mikard. Critisizing and dealing with pressure is part of the game, specially when you have star status(club, country) and if people calling this guy as Daei's replacement he should be able to deal with pressure. He is not kid anymore. Has been around TM in last 4 years.
I actually think his bashing was stupid and he did very well in WC and did what coach asked him. Played 3 times 90 min, something he barely have done before.
He will be back but his crybaby attitude is silly.
The issue is every where in the World, players with such a status they have a team of psychologist, great adviser around them. You either are by nature a mature person like Jahanbakhsh, if not you need to get these kind of helps and nothing wrong with it. This guy spending half of his time responding to people who criticize him online, come on man.
Look at Jahanbakhsh, almost the same age as Azmoun, and despite some criticizes that he performs better in club level than NT, he is focusing on his game, his mom was dealing with cancer but he barely made it public. and still had the best season of his very young career this year. Won't be surprised to see this kid with a big club sometime in his career with kind of determination he has. I love Azmoun and as i have said many time, he is probably our most talented forward ever, but talent is not enough, and he needs to grow up.
Knowing Queiroz, i hope Sardar gets the call again.

You are right, but no one can match his level of talent. The kid has HUGE potential. Too bad he is not mature AT ALL!

We rely too much on set pieces. That's why Azmoun is the most important at the front. His headers would play a big part at the AC. Also Kaveh Rezaei didn't really impress me. I don't know why everyone is speaking so highly of him. Just because he scored some tap in goals and penalties in Belgium doesn't mean he's Messi.
Also Karim and Ghoddos are not good headers. I'm sorry but if Azmoun doesn't play then I don't see us winning the AC.

There is no doubt that Azmoun si our best forward.

Kaveh doesn't just score tap in or penalties. He had quite a few outside the box strikes in Belgium which we have never seen from Sardar before. I watched a lot of his Belgian games and he presses hard and makes smart passes and good positional player. His engine is also higher than Sardar's. Trust me, there is not too much of a drop off - except that Sardar is just a better player with more important skillset. Sardar is an excellent player and our most talented striker. But all of this appeasement and side issues is making him less attractive in our TM and it's becoming a bit of a shit show with him. He brought this drama to the forefront when he was in the World Cup as well.

That is really not good for TM morale and Carlos hates this kind of cuddling and drama.

Guys remember CQ's philosophy - No one is bigger than the team. Of course, it is has been saddened with the departures of a few memorable players, but the jersey cannot be fixated for anyone who has just the skill. They have to also be emotionally ready to represent regardless of the haters.

Our fellow group members are right. He is in an emotional state right now, just like many of us are, but he has the right to keep his social media regardless of his current situation. This will either make better or worse. We are Iranian, and we always will produce talent for years to come. So we should respect his decision for the time being and maybe he will change his mind or maybe he won't. We should not stay selfish for our gain, but also respect any individual's decision. Lets not bash him as he was our player, because he was not here to entertain us. He was here to make us proud and he has accomplished that. Who are we to judge him.

Remember each player is unique, but we are always united as a team. All for Team Melli!

Post of the year right here

Regardless on your stance on Sardar, whether you think he’s a good guy or you think he is an immature bacheh, you cannot sit here and defend not only what he is doing now but his track record of awful decision making and uncontrollable behavior on social media.

Again I repeat what I said about him after the Spain match - he needs to take his own advice he gave Bouhaddouz and be a man and more importantly learn how to be a professional for once and for all

Sardar is emotional like his mentor and coach -CQ! How many times has CQ 'resigned' from TM????? So this is no different, Sardar is still a kid who has yet to grow emotionally , so give the guy some time and little "khayeh Mali" by fans and he will come back!!

CQ is not emotional in that sense - he always has a method to his madness. He is one of the strongest-minded coaches in the world and that's why he can clash with the likes of Ronaldo and not give a damn what Penaldo thinks. Sardar complains that people swear and are not so nice during games or on social media. Completely different story.

CQ resigns to get things done for team melli because he knows this passive-aggressiveness will work in IR Iran. That's all. Completely different animals Sardar and CQ are.

I don't know Tehranto. I still think that CQ pushed him to do so. If this would have been for real, then he commited suicide. No team in this world would sign him. That would be the biggest sign of unprofessionalism. A 23 year old quitting the nationalteam, because of some uneducated fans? Welcome to the world of football.
