He is injured and old ! we have other young players to replace him possibly for world cup 2022.
Sardar said dejagah had like 10 injections in russia !

Iranian players are not built for Premier league ! I said this when dejagah joined them ! i knew he would get injured! Iranian players should join german league or spainish league or even italian serie a league.

I don't disagree, Premier league is definitely too physical for some of our players. But that's a different argument. I think in the future we will produce and send more players fit for that league.

And I understood he had an injury, however he is only 31. After he heals he's supposed to play a bit longer and slow it down. He doesn't have to play 90 minutes a game, just be our minute 60 sub or start the game and be subbed off. I'm sure a lot of TM fans expected him to play at least til Asian Cup. No one expects him to be our star at the next World cup or anything.

Now that dejagah is gone. Kaveh rezaei will get invited. Morteza tabrizi could also replace Gucci. He is fit for CQ criteria. Tall , Fast , physical And Good strength! Possibly would get a call up. Also don't forget that Ali karimi missed due to injury ! so he might also get invited .

Imo these are the players that might get an invitation from CQ
          Kaveh rezaei
          Morteza tabrizi
          Ali karimi
Allahyar Sayyad specially this guy. I think he signed with esteghlal ! i hope big club doesn't ruin him.

At this time it makes sense to keep CQ til the end of the Asian Cup. If he manages to take the National team to the final game, then it will be a good idea to extend his contract til the end of the next world cup. But anything short of the final game will not be good enough to keep him around because after the heroic performances of the national team in this world cup, even a semifinal birth will not be satisfying to the majority of the football fans.

Carlos Queiroz: his future between Algeria and Cameroon!

                      TELES RELAY 26 June 2018

Without a coach, Algeria and Cameroon have set their sights on a man. This is Carlos Queiroz, the Portuguese coach of Iran who is supposed to leave his post at the end of the World Cup, Russia 2018 that Team Melli failed to qualify for the eighth final despite 4 points in group A.

The fennecs have separated from their coach Rabah Madjer this weekend and since the name of the former Manchester United assistant coach is on everyone's lips. Zetchi, the boss of the FAF (Algerian Football Federation) has unveiled that Queiroz was part of his priorities with Hervé Fox but the French technician should not move from Morocco. Finally in case of failure, it is a return of Vahid Halihlodzic who would hold the rope.

In the land of the Indomitable Lions, Hugo Broos left after the end of the Confederations Cup. If a call for applications has been launched for several weeks, we wait to know the outcome. And according to a fellow Cameroonian, Queiroz would be 70% done.

Former coach of South Africa, Portugal already knows the continent. But he could well extend the adventure in Iran (he's been there since 2011) with a proposal for a contract renewal for the next 6 months. It's up to him to decide.

So he gets lucrative long term offer from these two, doesn't make the 6 months with Iran more attractive for him...

{MERGED} Queiroz staying as Iran head coach, says FFIRI President Taj

Considering his age, and the comfort of getting used to Iran in the past 7 years and what he has built with Iran he will not leave Iran and will do his best to make the team champion at the asian cup so he can get his contract renewed for another 4 years

He has rightfully built a legendary status for himself in Iran, people and players love, trust and respect him.
he will not get that anywhere else as he worked 7 years for it to be earned

I see him coaching Iran in qatar 2022 games,

best wishes for him as he has my respect
چو ایران نباشد تن من مباد

I wouldnt care if he goes and some World class coach comes but the truth is Branko and Schäfer are ready, both are 0 in international football.

World class coach coming to Iran would be April’s fool, after all the shambles CQ faced and dealt with in an incompetent system!

Imagine putting up with the likes of GN, Branko or Myaeli Kohannon top of it.

I am almost certain CQ will be the last world class coach in our country before the end of IR.
