He brings up some valid points, but also makes some extremely questionable ones. He says we should be attacking... Yeah we saw how far Morocco got from playing attacking football...
Also the fact that we won't win anything unless we play attacking football... Well how the hell did we finish 1st in our group in qualification?!? Actually defensive solidity is very important in tournaments like the world cup and Asian cup... Also, we will play more attacking against Asian opponents just like we did in the Asian cup 2015, and only lost due to stupid red card against Iraq.
And he also makes it seem like we had a huge disappointment to not qualify to the next round... We saw how far him and his team of stars did in 2002 when we has working with Team Melli... And honestly the players were more talented then!

Related to this, I was on Varzesh3 instagram page and reading comments to their WC post regarding yesterday's QF between Russia-Croatia.
Was surprised at amount of vile comments pointed at CQ (typical Irani fosh and saying how CQ is crying now that Croatia qualified) and so many "Branko sarvare " comments.
I know social media comments isn't necessarily an accurate measure of the actual feel and vibe, but still very surprising.

I don't personally agree with insulting people (especially the cheap shots I've seen in this thread).
At the end of the day Afazeli is free to speak his mind, but that doesn't mean he has the qualifications as a coach to do so.
Same goes for Karimi, Azizi, etc.... These guys have no qualifications, they don't know what they speak of. Unfortunately, these 2 have large backings and people blindly accept whatever they say....but that is the individual person's fault for not critically thinking about the situation.

I agree with Martin. but I like to add one more thing.
I watched the video and I don't get what the big fuss is. one can agree or disagree with him, but If the guy can't speak his mind, then what's the point of asking the guy what he thinks?
I know a lot of football fans that don't like our style of play but still they are happy with ANYTHING that Iran can get because people in Iran have absolutely nothing to be happy about so losing to Spain 1-0 becomes a source of happiness. so now hooman or some other person comes out and says I don't like this style and out of a sudden he is "this" and "that"; why? because he is taking a position against what is "perceived" as the source of that "fake happiness".
we have to cut this shit out.
