This is logical to guys like you and I, but not to SS management.

The 100K was their own price point, they are just salty about it now because they realize he is better than they thought.

Let's put it this way, they will only get a 100K for Majid. Either they sell him, or he leaves for free when his contract is done.

How come Perspolis were more professional about selling Vahid Amiri? He is a key player for Perspolis.

Persepolis didn't sell Amiri. Amiri ran out of contract and became free agent.

Majid Hosseini is still under contract.

          first of all totally unrelated.

          Secondly, how clueless are you?

Amiri was a free agent. So was moharrami. and ahmadzadeh. We all see how PP act when an under contract player, Beiranvand, wants to leave to europe, making him feel guilty for wanting to go to torino instead of staying at PP.

Ok I didn't know that, thank you.

Yeah, it's messed up what some of these Iranian clubs are doing by holding back their players agree with you on that one.

                Amiri does not like PP.

PP made zero by Amiri leaving. This demonstrates club's stupidity. Amiri if liked PP, he should let them know to make some money from the transfer.

It seems that Esteghlal might be willing to get some extra cash to let him go.

Apparently IFF has told Esteghlal to sort out the problem with Trabzonspor without resrting to FIFA.

We should never ask ourselves why good clubs don't sign Iranians. Don't get me wrong I love Majid Hosseini, he's also a great player, but he's relatively low profile as opposed to others we have and look at the DRAMA that Esteghal has caused. So can we blame european teams from staying away?

It's not the players faults. Our clubs are so unorganised and incompetent. Eventually we'll have a squad full of European based players. It's only Esteghlal and Persepolis who are the problem clubs. Look how easy, Gholizadeh and Naderi left. I think Noorafkan is the only one who left easily. Kaveh was out of contract.

Haber Turk also reports this new development.

After explaining the transfer of Trabzonspor Hosseini attack against the former club of the player came from Istiklal. The Iranian representative, responding to the successful completion of the transfer using the buy-out clause in the defendant's contract, announced that it could move to FIFA. Trabzonspor Club, which came into commission after this development, was reported to meet with the Istiklal Club and aim to finish the dispute before moving to FIFA.

No club in the world would give up a player for cheaper than they have to, if they like/want that player. Obviously SS wants this player. this is a player who according to Schaffer is the best in Asia. I wouldn't sell him for less than 1 Mil Euros.

having said that, I agree that in the process of dealing with this type of cases, there are a lot of unprofessional behavior by both the clubs and often by the players. but I don't blame SS for wanting to fight for their player.

bear in mind we have no idea what the content of his contract is so we may find out things that we don't know now which would have made us think differently about this.

the idea that SS or any other club should just let players go abroad for the "common good/progress" of our football is just non-sense and should not be a part of this discussion.
Good points, I see and understand what you’re saying.
