Latest on this story:
Majid met with ESTEGHLAL CEO who has declined the transfer, but Majid is insisting on leaving the club. Apparently he will travel to Turkey on Friday.
Everyone wins if this happens - Esteghlal is in a financial crisis according to Schafer so they’ll get needed cash, Trabzonspor get a very talented young CB, Majid gets to play in a big club in a solid league, and in a year or two from now if they want to replace him I’d bet they’d make a nice return on their investment. I’ll keep my fingers crossed until the weekend

"I will never be able to say good bye to Iran. I have a feeling of belonging to this country and to the people." - Carlos Queiroz
Every 4 years we say our players will go to top 5 leagues after the world cup but the best ones end up in Qatar and Turkey.
When have we ever had a player end up in Turkey? This is the first time a top Turkish team is taking one of our players and given his age, it's a great move
Now I am a little confused!
Does this Trabzonspor want M. Hosseini or Pouraliganji or both of them??
both. They want PAG to be the teams new defensive leader, and Majid to partner him. They are also close to bringing in Kone from malaga. They lost two of their 3 center backs from last season (Durica-retired, Hubocan-back to marseille, the third CB is also apparently is asking for too much money, likely to leave).
