I don't think 90 have flipped the coin yet today to decide if the headline is he'll go or he'll stay...

Very sad, would have had the chance to become a legendary Iranian defender, starting to play in Europe so young. Now he's gonna end up like Aghili and Hasheminasab.

Hopefully it's still too early to judge. Although what the blues did has left a really sour taste in my mouth, I can't help but wonder if they would have accepted a more appropriate offer than 100-200k which is ridiculously low. It reminds me of when Arsenal bid 30 million + 1 pound for Suarez. Thinking that was only a few years ago and they could have landed him with a proper bid. In the end Liverpool were not punished for not accepting the release clause.

wasnt following this closely, but if they offered a paltry 100K for the player, then it's good that he didnt leave. If there's no other issues involved.

Yes, it would have been nice to see him and more Iranians enter europe. But that's too cheap and I dare say immensely disrespectful.

100K for a young World Cup defender with his entire career ahead?
F**k you, Terr spor or whatever the f**k your moronic name is.

that is not what happened. the Turkish club never offered $100K. this 100k started circulating because Hosseini's contract apparently had a $100k release clause and he was offering to pay that to the club.

Now, one can argue this is too low, but then this is a business and if the club agreed to this agreement, then they should honor it and learn to do a better job writing up contracts next time. Obviously the Club itself didn't think very highly of the player when they signed that contract, otherwise it would have had a more expensive release clause.

After the first few back and forths and after hearing the former SS chairman speak on the issue I knew something was fishy....in no report did we hear financial details and what demands were being met.

DD is 100% right if they’re only offering 100K for a hot young prospect like Hosseini they are disrespecting both Esteghlal and Majid Hosseini.

All blame goes to Trabzonspor if they wanted him they should have made a serious offer not some joke like that.

Dunno if true, but $100k is really ridiculous. Before you know they will demand money from Iranian clubs for 'offloading' them of players..

I am actually happy with Amiri move because of his age but had a mixed feeling with Hosseini, even though Trabzon is a development club. I mean i love Turkey and their people, i lived there for two years, but overall our boys didn't have good experience there. Started from Khakpour to Shahroudi, to Kavianpour, Momeni, Bakhtiarizadeh, then Rezaeian adn Taremi issues, ,then Shahbazzadeh, and recently Misaghian.
I mean we never send a top player or top player at their best there but stats is not in favor of our boys in Turkey. So hope something better happens for Hosseini in neat future.
