Turkish Süper League: A good place for iranians?

    What do you think guys?

I think it's a great league for us iranians. Easy to fly over to Iran. Good payment. Lifestyle wise something between the middle east and europe. A lot more competetive then belgium and the netherlands.

Europe is good for our young talents to grow. I rather see our young talents in the Dutch or the French football academies than the Turkish one.

Turkey is good for the older ones to get money and play competitive football before they join Qatar for their retirement.

I've been saying this for a while, honestly, we should make Turkey our new Qatar. Good pay, close to Iran, culturally similar, with the added bonus of CL and EL.

We just need a few players to perform well there. It's prefect for our money loving or bache nane players

there are many players transferring out of turkey to top leagues. From trabzonspor alone this summer yokuslu went to Celta Vigo, and many top teams are interested in their attacking mid yazici, and winger omur. In roma there is cengiz under, who shined after initial failings of m=players like Salih Ucan who also transferred there from turkey. Of course there is also a big german connection, with talents like Soyuncu also coming from turkish league to bundesliga. Given the close proximity and culture to iran, and the comparatively high pay to dutch and belgian leagues, it is a very logical place for our players. The top teams are also very solid in european competetion, which trabzonspor were only one place away from.

Absolutely! Turkish top league has consistent exposure to European competition. Very beneficial.

I think our players should go to China, then (hear me out on this) bring some of the money and invest it in Iranian football and academies. (Or donate through charity/less fortunate people.)

I forgot to mention people like Dejagah and Shojaei who have nothing really to play for anymore, not our youth

We have had a few players performing in the turkish league in the past couple of seasons and none managed to shine.
So that league has not been beneficiary for our players.

yeah cuz our second rate players were there. We had Shahbazzadeh, who is a decent forward, even scored vs galatasaray, he was treated a bit unfairly, but even after he returned to iran he wasnt that good. Besides him, Payam, who did well last year but was dealing with many injuries. So based on a sample size of two, non TM level recent players, on the crappy sides, you are making a judgement. Not very informed imo

Better than nothing (nothing = the traditionnal IPL, qatar) but still deceiving after what we show to the world in front of giant teams like Spain and Portugal.

What these europeans wants more than disciplined players, fighting like lions and following perfectly what the coach told them. Do they prefer a clown that fake them with 3 dribbles?!

Joining a mid table Turkish team will probably guarantee a better financial life and will not be a lunching platform to better European clubs for any Iranian player. Joining one of their top 3 teams could perhaps be better however.

The biggest thing a good league/club can offer Iranian players is conditioning. Unfortunately, the Turkish league doesn't seem to emphasize good stamina much.

I think the Turkish league is a good idea as it produces many talents that go onto better teams in top leagues. Not to mention the increased exposure our players will receive there as opposed to other lesser leagues
