Amiri was great as a LB. Galatasaray's first goal from a PK was a total joke. The ref didn't go to VAR and it was 100% not a penalty. That pretty much ruined the game for them.

Trabzon lost 1-3. Both Majid and Amiri played 90 minutes.

Majid was solid. Other CB turkemen cost them both the first and second goals.

Ref should not have awarded the first penalty against trab and refused to give a clear one for trab. Must be why Western European countries make fun of the super lig.

Overall 3-1 is a harsh Scorline, trab never gave up and had scoring opportunities which they unfortunately missed or were saved by a fantastic muslera.

Amiri was also solid at LB but it was a bit unexpected.

Do you think Majid's height (183) could be a problem in the future? I rarely see centre backs who are under 183cm in the top leagues nowadays. The only world class centre back at his height or shorter is Thiago Silva.

He’s not 183 cm.

It says he is on wiki but he is clearly grown a bit. He’s not 183.

It also isn’t a problem because majid doesn’t get beaten in physical battles or aerial ones often. So I wouldn’t think there’s a reason for worry.

Central D is more about positioning and being smart than height. Plus his height is Ok. Not a concern at all.
