We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Agility - none
Speed - not impressive
Dribbling - not impressive
Scoring ability - not impressive - most his goals were literally handed to him
Air game - nada
Strength - yes he's still small doodool but look at the Sayad

from what i suspect so far, it aint gonna be anything but yet another Trial and how he performs in trial will likely be the biggest factor in PSV signing or just waving him off as they did with our Ginger-Boy (which imo, was the best and most promising of our U17 WC players by a country mile..!)
ps
sure, he is awful young and still raw to be written off as a flop and he certainly has potential to become an excellent and highly technical winger/forward, yet i just fear that if he fails to impress at his PSV trial, he has all other makings of becoming another overhyped flop..!

I can't believe people think Ghaedi is better than Delfi.
Ghaedi is the type of player Iranian fans love - headless over dribbling, trying to go forward without tracking back... all coupled with a weak physique and low football IQ.
On the other hand Delfi has a a forward's goal sense. He can finish "easy" and "difficult" chances. He has been tested against top European academy talents and shown himself. He has been playing against players older than him the PGPL and doing well considering he is still developing.
Of course clubs would want some like Delfi over Ghaedi.

Delfi has speed, technique, intelligence, hustle..
Ghaedi has technique half the kids in Iran have but can't finish or impose himself on any game. He's good for gol koochik.

TBH, don't see this going anywhere ...

The development is a mystery, and no one can predict with a conviction how 16-17 years old kid develop. For some players takes time for others is fast and some never develop and fulfill the expectation.

Wow. Some of you guys saw this one game of Delfi and use this to say that he is "overrated".
Sorry but thats just silly. Delfi proved in U17 and as a regular starter at Esteghlal Khuzestan that he has a really high Football IQ. He makes fast decisions and has a really good overview of what is going on around the field (thats the biggest weakpoint of Ghaedi btw.).
My opinion on his performance last game was that he was just really hesistant. Maybe it has to do with his future and maybe just the fact that he isn't used to playing with this team/Krancjar.sigpic

Estili says that Delfi is supposed to go to PSV in December, not now.
