As I suspected it was a very hard game against Everton, and Brighton were walking through treacle near the end vs West Ham after scoring two goals in under two minutes. Draw was a fair result. Solly March just could not maintain his recent standard.
Both managers were thinking of the future with their team selections. Antonio (very quick) and Noble were two players I feared most and they made the difference.
Also, as I suspected, Bruno and Bong are better than Montoya and Bernardo at defending.
Otherwise, playing just the one winger really made Brighton just as inept as West Ham in attack, or even more of a blunt instrument. More guile required.
Brighton had a bit of an off day and West Ham are rather limited, or at least the side they put out.

Manuel Pellegrini said he was "absolutely frustrated" despite Marko Arnautovic scoring twice in two minutes to salvage a point against Brighton.
On the ball is better but still not creating from open play

A selection mistake!? One of many. Solly March was knackered and Knocky seems to be the only fit winger. I would have played Andone.
Lucky Pelligrini made even worse choices and the West Ham defending was atrocious.

dont think CH is very found of his personality and to some degree also of his individualistic playing habits and tendencies to deviate from team tactics and cowboying his way on the pitch..!!

Carlos Queiroz said Jahanbakhsh will be given every opportunity to prove his fitness, even though he may not be ready for the opening game against Yemen in Abu Dhabi on Jan. 7.
HONG KONG: Iran’s coach believes Alireza Jahanbakhsh will be fit for the Asian Cup tournament that kicks off this week, keeping the Brighton & Hove Albion winger in the squad hit by injuries. Jahanbakhsh joined the Premier League side last summer from AZ Alkmaar where he finished the 2017-18 season as the leading scorer in […]
