He has not been fantastic in the very little time he has been given but he's definitely shown flashes of quality. In his last FA cup game he looked a mindset above everyone else on the pitch, and then was poor in the next league game.
He lacks confidence, IMO that's it. A good run, a couple lucky bounces and he will come good. Hughton just isn't managing him correctly. It's clear as day. Read the Brighton forums - they are getting tired of him because he just plays the same game and players week in and week out. ARJ obviously holds some of the responsibility but how could he possible have even a shred of confidence when he's watching even Locadia get game time over him. Not to mention Locadia publicly voiced his discontent over lack of game time.ballast parcham bi boro bargard refigh negaran nabash bikhod to aslan

"Following on from yesterday's post about the most popular #BHAFC players on Twitter - here is who has the most followers on Instagram
Look's like we've finally found something that Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Jurgen Locadia bring to the party"

"Alireza Jahanbakhsh has been named as the fifth biggest summer signing flop in the Premier League this season
Do you agree with that, #BHAFC fans?" @wearebrighton

Brighton have another game on Saturday , it could be that he will start that game and was tested tonight. Plus he has had a few players return from injury lately and is using his squad. They are in a rut at the moment and the game on Saturday is a must win game at home to Huddersfield.
Obviously we all want ARJ to play as we have a vested interest in him and we can get wound up over him not playing or his performances. It has been a very stop/start season for him. The timing of his injury and then the Asian Cup came at the wrong time , when he was starting to establish himself in the team.
It is a massive leap from the Dutch league to the Premier League and it has taken him time to adapt, we should be putting our focus on giving him all the support we can give.
