Just received official notification of a #bhafc press conference at 4.30pm. Looks like the aforementioned birthday appointment is on!

Comment: I expect Graham Potter will veer more to the "Total Football" end of the continuum than CH. This means there will be even less opportunity for specialised players. Players will be expected more to swap positions during games, not just in the starting line-up.

Yeah CH really did a number on Ali. But to his credit it wasn’t intentional. Or at least it didn’t seem as though it was because he always expressed his support for having him as his player. He just wanted to play safe with Brighton so they don’t relegate. And so he had Alireza play everywhere. CH might have watched Alireza’s performance at the World Cup than with AZ in Eredivisie. Because the way Ali was utilized this season was not as an attacker but as a defensive minded pawn.

Now, Alireza wasn’t completely innocent either in how he played. At times he came across as scared to take risks/chances. But to Ali’s credit he was also unlucky to get a few in the back of the net for Brighton.

But all in all, CH reed with how he used Jahanbakhsh lol.

No wonder the poor guy had no goals or any service. Neither he, nor his teammates knew where he needed to be at any given time. This is all at CH's feet.

somebody share this with the numbskull Brighton chaps

I feel the same has happened with Coutinho at barca ... misuse of talent

Albion are opening talks with Graham Potter after meeting the release clause of close to £3 million. Has happened in the last few minutes. Talks expected to continue over the next 48 hours. #bhafc
Hoping he starts an attacking formation for BHA, with ARJ at the right wing where he belongs

It may have occurred to them a certain Chris Houghton might get them back up?
Hughton being linked with the Baggies job. He would shore up that defence and has a great record in the Championship, they stand to lose a lot of players this summer through loans finishing etc.
