Awful move. He's definitely worthy of a better team, and just like with Charleroi I don't like seeing three Iranians in the same team. One of these guys is going to ride the bench.

Let me say that I think that he was our best player in WCQs and in the WC and deserves to be playing in the best leagues of the world, no question.

But the bigger picture is it is 10 steps up from Qatar and will be playing in front of great forwards each and every week. Let’s also consider we don’t know if he even had offers from top leagues too....if it turns out the only concrete offers were Dutch, Turkish, Qatari and Chinese teams then that just further makes this anything but an awful move
