It is the most realistic move for him in my opinion and perhaps in the best interest of Team Melli defensive coordination.
Even though he is a great player deserving to play in a top league, it is hard to believe that a top league team will get him after having played in Qatar. Besides the transfer season in most good leagues is reaching its deadline. Still hope he goes to a Western European league, but Trabzon are also a decent side in a solid league.
our defense playing in one team in a competitive league is absolutely stunning. I have to say cudos to Trabzon who will make their defense unbreakable and will have a good shot at the Turkish title this year

Not the least smart enough to buy quality WC defenders very cheap in contrast to many clubs that are after big names in South America.
They will probably show the still relatively unknown Iranian market more than anyone else if they do indeed use both of them as their regulars.
Why would he be competing with him? He'd be brought in to start a partnership with him.
Because Trab is already somewhat crowded in defense and it's not likely both of these first year players would just show up and take over the CB positions. Who knows, maybe they plan to loan out Hosseini to a smaller club or something.

I don't think they would go through the hassle of signing Majid to then loan him out. I believe they want them to continue their partnership from the world cup because they saw something special.

They had four CDs last year competing for two spots. Three of them left the club. The other one is their captain who was injured for a while. I think there is a good chance that both of them will start together.
So much anticipation on Pouraliganji's next ''big'' move to possibly one of the top 3 European leagues, we getting all hyped up by even Jahanbakhsh and Hashemi...and eventually he signed with a club we already knew from the beginning. Very dissapointing transfer for PAG who is already 26 and in his prime. In 2 seasons he will be already hitting his early 30's.
