Just got my Quarter, Semi and Final tickets. No sold out sections yet as far as I can tell.

First two look great but the final stadium is one of those crappy ones whose seating is about a mile away from the pitch.

Lol if we fail to win our group and I end up following Yemen to AC glory.

Well plan your trip, going only to dubai or also to abu dhabi? Then spend load of time searching for hotel! Dubai has so many u need 1-2 days only to decide what hotel you want. TM might practice at the iranian club, if you want to take selfies with the players your ebst chance is to hang here, http://icd.ae/en/contact-us/location-map.html
sightseing? well tripadviser dubai, spend a day there and make ur picks

There a lot of hotspots in the city depends on what kind of activity you want to go for. There are plenty of pubs, bars and nightclubs. The nightlife is heavily active during weekends and Tuesdays (Ladies Night) free drinks for women all night. The clubs usually have an entry fee of 100 dhs ($27) unless you are accompanied by a lady then it’s free.

Other activities you could chase are skydiving, paintball, VR Park, Sega Republic, the weather is gonna be cold and chilly during the evening so all outdoor activities are encouraged, the beach is lovely with beach volleyball and football. Lots of sightseeing to do and different food to try.

You can get good rates on hotels. Use booking.com

For transport you have the metro, local taxis and Uber. Try getting a SIM card at the airport on arrival. Shouldn’t cost you more than 50dhs.

Everybody here speaks decent English so there’s no language barrier at all. Strict laws with regards to drug usage. I don’t recommend asking anyone at all.

Money exchange spots are available almost at any shopping center. You can use dollars or dirhams at retail shops. People don’t accept dollars at small shops like groceries or small marts.

Apple and Samsung pay are accepted at all well known retailers. To use your local bank card, I think you need to inform your bank prior to making any purchases here. I know a lot of people using Barclays card have had their cards frozen upon making purchases and had to wait three days for the bank to release it once they confirmed their identity.

You can buy tickets online or at the stadium venues. The link for making purchases has already been posted above.

I don’t know where TM will train or will be accommodated at.

Dubai is a pretty expensive city so do a little bit of research on where you’d like to visit and the kind of activities you’d want to do. I recommend not spending most of your budget on getting yourself an expensive hotel room and rather use it to enjoy other things.

Dubai is also VERY small. Smaller than you think it is. Hope this answers most of your questions.

Do I go for a good seat in other fans section or a bad seat in Iran fans section?
(I feel like there'll be so many Iranians that they'll just overlap into other fans' sections or is that a silly assumption)

Iranians in Dubai are a minority compared to Arabs of different countries. Sit with your own hamvatans, you’ll have more fun.

Why do people want to travel to that cursed country? If you go I hope you spend as little money as possible.

I'm in no way looking forward to having to spend 10 days in that cultural cesspit but the [inshallah] 3x90 minutes of TM I experience can't be tarnished by no man, woman or child.

I am looking to do things on a tight budget, thankfully. I know slave labour and prostitution are two of their thriving sectors so I'll hopefully be able to get some quick cash in hand work whilst out there to negate my small spending.

Considering to buy tickets for the Final & Semi-final.

Worst case scenario, at least I got myself a sunny vacation.

hey guys, I know this question is not very footballi... But we decided to go to one of Iran's matches. Unfortunately flight and hotels are mostly very expensive.
Since some of you seem to have a bit more experience and seem to live in Dubai, I wanted to ask you if you would recommend us to book flight & hotel with the expensive prizes, because we were not sure if it will get even more expensive for this destination?
                              Merci

I would recommend you to book your flights and tickets in advance. Use the website booking.com to find yourself good deals on hotels with free cancellations. Hotels here aren’t that expensive. You could find yourself a decent room with less than $80 a night.
