28th once we win the group. 29th if hell freezes over and we come runners-up.

Question for Rabbit or anyone else who may know the answer, why is this property so cheap:

        https://www.booking.com/hotel/ae/fra...e-d.en-gb.html

I just booked it for £410 for the 10 days I'm over. From what I can tell, that seems way below market price as for that kind of money as I was struggling to find decent accommodation that didn't involve sharing rooms, am I wrong?

It’s a private apartment for rent and it’s on the outside of the city. Not much around you to see. You’ll have to cab or Uber it to anywhere you go. The property is legit so don’t worry about it. Rates are cheap because mostly people leave Dubai for Christmas and New Years back to their families abroad. It’s not a peak season for tourism. Try finding something along Sheikh Zayed Road or in Business Bay. That way you’ll be much closer to everything in Dubai. But 170dhs a night is a good bargain. You need check about room service and breakfast though since it’s not a hotel.

          Edit:

By outside of the city I mean you need a 15-20 minute car ride to someplace nice and your best option would be the Dubai Marina area. Plenty to do there. And the nearest mall to you would be Mall of the Emirates.

You are also not anywhere near to the metro link. You’ll have to cab it back and forth if you’re planning to use the metro.

Yeah Dubai Marina is where I'm familiar with from my last stay. How long is the walk from this place to the closest Metro (I'm guessin Damac Properties or Nakheel?) cause Google Maps is sending me on some 6 hour hike around which I'm guessing isn't accurate. Don't mind a 30-40 minute walk to metro if that's possible, otherwise cab fares might add up as you say.

It's on the suburban outskirts in a residential community basically. Decent place to live but not exactly your bustling touristy place for a holiday.
You can't really walk it to the metro as you'd need to walk on the highway/motorway, plus it'll take loads of hours.

If you don't mind ordering taxis/ubers then go for it. If you can also rent a car you should have a lit time- everything's not too far by car. But yeah can't really walk to much other than a little community complex nearby probably. Public transport aint too great in Dubai, a car or taxi will get you places.
