Tehran, Aug 11, IRNA – Qorban Ali Tari, the first-ever goalkeeper of Iran's national football team died on Saturday at the age of 93.
Apart from goalkeeping, Tari was also one of the first reporters and analysts in sports programs of Iranian radio.
Mehdi Taj, the president of Iran's Football Federation, condoled with the Iranian football community on the demise of Tari.
Tari had played his first game for the Iranian national team against Turkey.
