But to sum it up really quick, no we don’t right.
Taj , Soltani and IFF are saying that he will extend his contract with TM till the
End of the AC but nothing has been signed yet and I personally am very worried
About this issue. -
I think he will extend.
South Korea signed another Portuguese coach (the same one who replaced CQ after World Cup 2010).

Taj (head of the federation) said again today that CQ is our coach and he will be back for the next camp in September. CQ had a couple of key demands: 1- resolve the military service situation (seven key members of TM could be drafted) 2- Execute his plans for camps and friendlies ahead of AC 2019 in UAE. First one is seemingly resolved by a recently announced deferment (beyond 30 years of age) program and waiver in case of olympic championships. My guess is that IFF is working behind the scenes to finalize the camps and friendlies. I am hopeful that CQ will be back.
