Les gens ne connaissent pas l'Iran en France (sauf sous certains angles) et encore moins les footballeurs iraniens. Vous avez sans doute vu aussi l'interview de l'équipe tv se moquant de son arrivée. De la même manière rien n'a été dit ce matin à téléfoot (émission de football française) sur son coup franc ou ses performances (2 buts en 3 matchs et quels buts !). Au final les supporteurs d'Amiens l'apprécient deja (twitter) et il devrait rapidement changer de club si il continue comme ca (en tout cas je lui souhaite)

Ha. You talk as if Sardar plays in goal and scores miracle goals. Did you forget he is a striker? Has he scored more important goals than Gucci or even Taremi? Fun fact...Sardar has never scored on an opponent ranked higher than Iran in Fifa standings. Of course Sardar this and Sardar that...but there seems to be a blind love or hate for this guy that causes one fan call another fan with a more critical eye a teenager or manchild.

Used to be blind Sardar lovers cited his prolific goal scoring pace but that no longer exists...now we talk about his important role...correction...his previously important role since he quit TM.

Anyways back to our main man...Ghoddos is easily becoming a fan favourite.

WC matches, Sweden, Chile, Venezuela...it gets even worse if you look at top 50 opponents!

Azmoun didn't play versus either Chile or Sweden. Jahanbakhsh and him were with the U23 team when TM played those friendlies.

Ok I stand corrected for those 2 matches. Regardless factor in top 50 and it's still not very impressive. He scores in bulk on Turkmenistan and Syria.

Who are these top 50 teams TM has played in ‘important’ matches? You make it out as though he’s played so many games against top teams and failed to score.

He’s scored more goals against South Korea than against Turkmenistan (and same as against Syria). So I guess that means he scores in bulk against one of the better AFC teams too?

He can only score against the teams he plays against and he’s got a great record so far, especially considering the ultra defensive strategy we always play, according to you.

He’s done well in most friendliest too, scoring against Russia and Algeria.

C'est en partie normal. Il n'avait aucun joueur Iranien auparavant en France. Je suis convincu que ses bonnes peformances vont ouvrir la porte pour les autres joueurs iraniens.

-la performance de la TM à la CM
-les résultats de Ansarifard, Rezaei, Jahanbakhsh, etc dans leurs championnats respectifs
-de la vague de joueurs iraniens arrivée en Europe
-et surtout que Taremi a attiré l'intérêt de clubs de Ligue 1 tout comme Azmoun
