They are complete shit. Manager with no experience and their squad is full of nobodies. It's possible for any team to get lucky and win one game, but two is difficult.

Originally posted by naderb94 View PostI’m confused to why they’re so bad this year. Last year they played inspiring at times and did enough to survive but I think they’ll easily relegate this year unless they bring on more talent.
In the middle of the season they changed the league rules, making it mandatory for the coaches to have an A-license (Karimi and another coach in the league only had B-licenses), but that didn't work out and he could stay the coach. Also Sepidrood got very unfavorable referee decisions in the last third of the season and lost a couple of points due to that. In the end that didn't work out either, because Karimi had turned the team around so well that it collected enough points avoiding relegation.
After the season they entered the next level and illegally changed the ownership and the chairman of the club. The one agenda the new chairman had was to fire Karimi and he did so. While the rest of the league was focused on the season preparation the team could not train, they didn't have coaches. Only very short before the start of the season they came up with Azizi.
The whole process was accompanied by heavy protests from the fans and when Azizi was appointed, they associated him with the new leadership and so naturally they attacked him as well, hence that one incident. Poor guy got caught in the middle of all this.
The old chariman took the whole thing to the court and he won now, he is back in place. Azizi had resigned by himself and the last game the team was coached by an interim coach. Now Karimi has been re-hired. I do believe they can win a couple of games, but avoiding relegation will be tough, we will have to see. What the team has mainly been lacking is fitness and in the first games they were out of steam after 70 minutes. Of course since they had no preparation. That had improved in the last games and they almost made it through the whole 90 minutes. That part was done well by Azizi.
If they do avoid relegation that will be one last big slap into the face of the mafia, before they are gone for good, not only from football. That would be sweet.
