      Full time.
      Persepolis lost 1-0.

We have a chance in Tehran.
Not sure Branko knows how to overturn this sort of inertia.

NO GOOD WEEK FOR IRANIAN TEAMS

          ESTEGHLAL LOST 3 VS 1
          PERSEPOLIS LOST 1 VS 0

BUT PERSEPOLIS HAVE MORE CHANCE TO ADVANCE

            Why the stadium was empty?

I told you guys this Duhail team is far from their team from months ago. Too bad PP couldn't score a goal. As long as PP manage to keep it clean in Azadi, everything is possible. A goal by Duhail in Tehran and it will become very very hard.

At least PP still has a decent chance; for Esteghlal it's already over.
Persian Pride running through my veins!

              Esteghlal for life!!

Branko joon be joonesh konan is an ordinary coach, nothing more.
The way players, some veterans like Jalal were talking before match was like they are going to face Real or Barca.
As my good friend here(Nokhodi) mentioned it well in other borad: Branko is not a motivator!

Branco needs to let mensha play a full game or at least half in PGL to get ready for the next match. 10 minute play is not enough to show yourself or tune up your skills.
PP can win the the next AFc match.

Al Duhail is very strong. Unfortunately, see Persepolis losing.
Oh okay I didn’t realize that. Yeah we lost.. What a bummer.. Hopefully they can get through in the next game. We can’t concede any goals. Should’ve gotten a point from this game.

I have always said that. He has been a liability all along his footballing career. Been the same with TS, Sepahan and now Perspolis. He is a brainless and careless player who has zer0 control over his anger and acts erratically without thinking. I'd like to see him go TBH.

Very true. When you compare him with CQ, it will look like comparing Cocaine/THC (Uppers "CQ") to Xanax/CBD (Downer "Branko")

CQ clearly knows how to pump up the players prior to their crucial matches, e.g., Playing epic and superhero movies, psyching the players up by confidently reminding them how great they are and how they can prevail and beat the impossibles. Whereas with Branko, even listening to his interviews and speeches make you wanna fall asleep.
Having said all that. Perspolis shire. We will wrap them up in 3 weeks and send them back home in a nicely decorated gift package. In other words Noskhashoono mipichim!

Yeah exactly. We need to keep the door shut and play smart counter attacking style football. Have to REALLY take advantage of the opportunities we get. Hopefully Al Duhail will also break mentally if supporters fill Azadi as the Esteghlal supporters came vs Al Sadd.

Perfect comparison. Branko may be a good coach but he is not one to run and celebrate with his team. He’s very “yakh”. Meanwhile Carlos mind screws his opponents with his classic reverse psychology and shows scenes from Saving Private Ryan lol to motivate his team.
