An hour ago, Iran won Gold in Volleyball against South Korea. 3 - 0.
However, in Final lost in Basketball to China Iran 72 - China 84. Iran will receive Silver

Indonesia cheated with few East Asian other countries by placing their own national or local games among 2018 games. Indonesia won 12 Gold medal for these games. Iran complained.

Surprises for me were India in Athletes (mostly runners) to get eight Gold. Bahrain, a tiny island did well in terms of medals.

As a young person, I attended many Iran's games in Iran in 1974 in Tehran. Many of you were not born then. Iran ranked second after China which was Chinese first time participating in Asian games.

There is a correlation between economy and morale of athletes. Iran's economy is not doing well because of poor management, corruption and favoritism (nepotism).
Religion is bringing Iran down in many levels.

Iranians are fighters. Iranians are brave. Iranians will bounce back stronger and win many medals in the future. Cheers.

Bahrain mostly were naturalized foreigners from likes of Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya, Sudan, Morocco, etc.
I only saw 2 Gold Medalists in the list being Bahraini one of them also won a Bronze in another event

All Qatar's medals were won by naturalized foreigners

What you stated is NOT correct. ONLY in Football 11 medals were given not other sports.

i want to say indonesia winning alot of medals before of silat is nothing new, iran hosted in 1974 and introduced greo-roman and we bag almost all the medals. however i have to say we had a mix tournements in jakarta both good and bad,but overall i think we failed

Actually Japan was ranked first and China ranked 3rd at the end of the medal count

Pretty simple: if Iranian women had the same opportunities we easily became 3rd or 4th every time. This time we got 2 more Bronze, 4 more silver but one less gold, thats ok. As far as I can see its actual that highest amount of medals we ever had.
What bothers me is that Uzbekistan now has more or less twice as many medals/golds than last time. One reason is the introduction of Kurash - so same thing as Pencak Silat for Indonesia.

I really don't care about medals at the Asian Games or even Olympics. There are too many pointless sports. China is an Olympic powerhouse by wining many medals from pointless sports but they have a terrible football team and average basketball team. I hope we will do better at sports that are popular in the world.
