I think they want to make seperaate family entrances for women and their families, as well as separate bathrooms obviously and security.
Azadi doesn't have any of that, but its easily doable.
yea they need to get with the program and get the shitt done already..!!
i dont know wtf are they waiting for ..!!
They should always allow women to enter the stadium. It will boost morale. You will c...the matches will be far more dynamic for the players and the crowd. Seriously, it will be the start of a new era and we might actually go beyond the group stage.
Keep calm and believe in Fairies and Footballers Roxanaz

Agreed, Azadi already packs the house for important matches with 50% of the potential fan base not included. Imagine the atmosphere when ALL TM fans are allowed to join...it would clearly select for the most die hard fans given the increased competition for seats. It will only make the game more exciting for the fans and TM. Not to mention that it's the right thing to do.
Why are some people here reacting negatively to this? This is a good start but of course there should not be a female ban in the first place and like someone said at the very least this has broken the taboo of female Iranian fans attending team meli matches at azadi.
They say its a propaganda or a show perhaps, fake people, not real people
We take any victory, no matter how small, and appreciate it for what it is. In this case a 1400 years-old diseased mindset showed some signs of life (and humanity).

No it didn't, please don't get confused. The only reason they are doing this is because they are under immense pressure, so they are giving up small things like this, in the hope people will forget about the problem (the nezam).
These guys don't have any humanity or life, the only thing they are after is getting rich, and they won't stop until Iran has no resources left.

Of course this is aghabneshini, and a sign of weakness, but whatever the reason, it should be encouraged and expanded until it is out of their hands. Without change there will be an explosion. And for every Stalin in Iran I hope there is also a Gorbachev, and i hope it is he (and not Stalin) with whatever humanity they have left that is in charge when the ship sinks, so we may have a hope of a peaceful transition and not a bloodbath.
This hasn't been anything special at all and I don't get why people have got excited. In 2005 Iran vs Bahrain , they also allowed a few hundred celebrity females into the stadium under pressure.
