I'm also never criticizing Beiranvand again!

Also Mensha was horrible. Alipour ran for him.

It'll be nice to finally play against a non-Arab opponent. Shout out also to the ref for this game, he was pure class and not the usual whistle-happy ref assigned to Iranian teams. He let the game play and the best team won!

i wanna see Siamak given a run in TM..!! He was the best PP outfield player in the first half and scored a brilliant equalizer ..!
he'd be my MOM regardless of Bey's heroic, monster saves near the end of each half..!!

                            Beiro undoubtedly the MVP

I havent been that nervous at the end of a match in a while.

Persepolis deserved to lose today. Sadd is a pretty good team. It just shows that Branko, no matter how you feel about him as a person, is a really good coach and understand this Persepolis teams' strengths and weaknesses.

Beiro adding to his resume....what a save.

Fitness and marking (left/mid defense especially) need to be addressed too.

All in all, congrats to all

tabrik to everyone here and all of iran! What a performance by PP, to get the job done, even if it wasnt their best night.

Branko has done wonders with this team, you have to give him that. Kept them at the op 4 teams of asia for the past 3 seasons despite losing countless key players, who also went on to be key contributors for TM. Couldnt even replace the last batch because of a transfer ban, somehow found internal solutions.

They really deserve all of our respect. Look at the joy they gave the over 100K in and around the stadium, and the many thousands watching at home. Dameshoon garm.

And beira - WOW. This man is a world class keeper. I hope he signs off with an ACL win and begins a euro adventure. He is still quite young for a
GK, and has overcome the craziest adversities, even up until 6 months ago with most people belittling him and calling for his head. The mental strength it took to overcome that and put in these types of performances in the most crucial moments consistently, is commendable. Many would have broken in the face of such pressure. But he has delivered time and time again.

and if I could jsut add one more thing. PP were sooooo fit this time around. Closing down spaces all the way past the 90 min mark. I think branko really identified this as a weakness and corrected it.

                                again, tabrik to all.
